Arrows/Analog Stick

I'm having trouble deciding which one to use, I used the analog stick but I tried the arrows and I don't know which one is better, I don't want an answer like, "practice and you'll find out which one is better" because I already practiced, what do you guys use? and if so, does the R2 helps while shooting? like strength or accuracy? Thanks in advance

Edit: Also, when running, when do you use R1 or R2, do I even have to use it a lot or is better if I do some passes? when is it useful

Personally I prefer the analogue stick but Im sure some people are different. I would say though that the D-Pad is a must for penalties! R2 stabalises your player so will make your shots slightly more accurate. Some people say R2 also helps put curl on the ball.

When running I do use R1 quite a bit but for going past players taking your finger off it is better and R2 is occassionally useful for side stepping etc.

He understood what I meant there was no need to start sayin stuff cuz I said "Arrows"
not my fault he likes to crack on people, arrows and d-pad is the same thing, and I'm sure he knew what I was talking about.

ANYWAYS PEOPLE!!!! back to the original question, this person was posting for some opinions on what is better to use ... d-pad (which he called arrows) or anolog stick. I would have to say anolog and thats for freekicks too.

Which ever you use for open play never use the analogue stick for penalties - so many times I have aimed for the corners and its gone down the middle! That doesnt mean I didnt score though!

i find it better to use d pad in open play but the analog stick works better for free kicks and corners

The D-Pad is ok I suppose and probably makes it a little easier to do the stepovers (double tap a direction) but I find you have nore control over your players with the analoge stick.

I use the analog for open play, just more easier for manouverbilty(is that how you spell it:)??), use d-pad for penalty's, as Orkyben said they go straight down the middle with the analog.

Im not sure but thats how I would spell it.

The whole penalty thing with the analogue sticks is just annoying, sometimes (coz Im so used to using the analogue) I forget to use the D-Pad and it pisses me off when it goes straight down the middle.

Sometimes when i use the analog for penalty's i aim right for example then i sky the ball right over the stantion(that's the part where the post and the bar join, incase you didn't know)
