Hello,

I've been playing PES4 (xBox version) for a while and haven't progressed much. Part of the reason is that I'm old (34, brain works slower) and don't have too much time to practice.

One of the things I am unsure about, and the intructions don't seem to explain, is what the arrows next to the players names mean. These are the green, yellow, red and blue ones that appear when one is changing players. Also, what does the direction they point in mean?

Might sound obvious but I need to get to know the game inside out or I'll keep on losing to crap teams :(

Thanks,

Loz

The arrows indicates how good form the players are in.

A red arrow pointing up is best and grey pointing down is the poorest.

Best: Red
2. Yellow
3 (Neutral): Green
4. Blue (Don't use players with this arrow, unless it's a very good player who is essential for the team)
5. Grey (Don't use players with this arrow)

Hope this helps.

If you're playing a match set to random form arrows (such as master league or a cup) then the arrow is mostly random and partly affected by the player's consistency stat - apparently.

The form arrows are explained and discussed in the sticky thread which is here.
