Question about the update you get in game from options menu. Is it saving to option file or save data on hard drive? I ask because I use multiple option files. So am I going to need to download this for all of them (which will take ages!) or is this a one time thing?

aman-ive basically noted the extras in mine to the official update, in that post you quoted mate...:)

jay-as far as i know the update alters the current loaded OF on your system.
how have you got more than one, you got seperate users on ya ps3 then?
If so i would take it you would have to have all the 70odd files saved to each of your ps3 profiles (save data folder).

Am in a dilemma as I have/want 3 files:

1) an older version of your file which I put Ipswich and scum (Norwich) in the 2 slots in other leagues A.

2) the latest version of your OF.

3) Now I hear this Championship OF being made is now not based on your file but on WENB as someone else is doing it (not Cloister).

What you said about 3 seperate profiles is a good idea, does it work okay like that?

jay , i would if i was you, set up another profile (test), load pes on that one, copy just the edit data from your main one (not all pngs for now)see if you get all the kits, my arsenal one etc.
p.s bear in mind for now you wont have any logos, just emblems.
see if you can have another profile with another OF on it, cant see why this wouldnt work, im sure you can copy saves from one profile to another.
ie: i have a US account/profile and i know i can copy saves to that one from my main one..
If this does work you could have 3 profiles each with a different OF on it.
Obviously the stats wouldnt be the same for each profile.

If I download your latest option file without konami's update (Version 7 for pes 1.10), is it just a simple matter of downloading the update to get the same offering as your ***VER8 FOR PES1.20***.

Sorry but I am really clueless with technology. Also, how easy is it to get your ps3 on the internet, able to download things? Do you know where I could find an idiots guide to doing it? Cheers in advance mate, or to anyone else who can help

josh-ive actually added a small change (blackburn kit)to ver8 which isnt in ver7, and since i havent got pes in 1.10 anymore i couldnt revert a 1.10 for ver8.

i would advise you to turn pes on , download the 1.20 konmai update, then come on here an download my ver 8 then your up to scratch

your not on the network> you have no psn ID?

Broadband connection to your household, and a router and have the ps3 wireless to it, or via ethernet cable, then register an account on your ps3.

Nah as I referenced above, i'm an idiot with all this! haha. Yeah we have a broadbant connection to my household. Sorry but what is a router? and how do i connect it all up? Im sorry mate, you really dont have to help me if you cant be arsed, but you have been wonderful

You should of got a blue wire with your ps3 in the box, with box looking connectors. This is the ethernet cable, plug that into the back of your router and the other end into the matching socket in the back of the ps3.
As longs as your broadband is active/on. Turn on your ps3 then go to the playstatio network symbol on media bar then register, takes about 10 mins, lots of details to put in (see here)

once your account is active youll have an ID to go online with.
Now put in pes youll be asked to download 1.20 do so then in game go to settings download-http.
once your done come on here get my ver8 and viola done.... and everytime konami do transfer update my file wont corrupt or /wait for me to fix, it will just work alongside any Konami update.the main reason i kept my OF simple lol.
good luck bro i dont beleive any ps3 should be without online, it brings the ps3 capabilities up so much.

I would d/l ver8 for now, at the moment i have no big intentions for the OF, but i would update for something like (a new sponsor for westham) or any kits i can still perfect.(anything cosmetic really)
But adding something like bundelsiga, i dont think so. Ive said before if anyone feels free to get my file and create missing players/teams etc feel free. I just dont fancy the work of correcting it all when Konami release another squad update..

Alright mate, i've made some progress with it all. However as usual i've reached a sticky point and lost my temper. Its so unneccesarily complicated! Tried ringing the sony helpline but was on hold for about 5 minutes so i hung up - what a complete set of clowns. So you are my only hope now. lol. God help you. I've got to the point where I'm testing my connection and all it keeps saying is. Connection Test completed. Obtain IP Idress - failed. The Key information exchange timed out. Can you help me in regards to that? If not I fear i'll be forced to join one of these ps3 forums.
