I've been playin these games since they first emerged and would consider myself to be a very decent player. I don't need advice that often about how to play but I started using this site to answer some nagging questions that I had.
The posts I have made thus far have been greeted with nothing but severe attitude from the more experienced users (Who obviously use the site far more than is healthy for a normal human being.)
We do not all have this much time to waste in order to find out the rules or site etiquette. Therefore if I do post a thread that is already in existance it is only because I do not have time to read every single thread. I need a quick answer and i'll be gone. Theres no need for the more experienced of you to get on your high horses. You'll simply drive new users away with this attitude.
It's a shame that these people act in this way. I always thought the pro evolution games led the way in eliminating the "geek" factor that overshadowed this medium. It was a game you could play with mates and a few beers without being branded a sad loner. Let's not play up to this view of gaming by acting like a bunch of t***s. (Or united fans)

Yeh mate but you have to realise if you post a question that's been answered a million times already, people get pissed off with repeating themselves. Try using the advanced search funtion to narrow it down mate. Also i bet you'd get pissed off if i kept asking u the same question over and over again, wouldn't you?

Yeah that's fair enough. It would just be nice if someone would explain things like the advanced search (I have'nt got a clue what that is) first time round instead of getting all stressed out about it. It takes a little while to realise what sort of community this is. Let's just be slightly more patient with the newbies hey?

And in harsher words:

1. People who don't usually use their cars don't get to fly intersections in red lights.
2. People who don't usually buy stuff at boots don't get to go up to the cash registrer before people who regularly buy stuff there.
3. Those people who hang out more than you do in the forums are usually the ones enabling you to post up your questions, and usually are the ones to answer them. Show some respect and don't pass a judgement (not healthy etc.)
4. Your parents made a lousy job with your upbringing, obviously, with that "I deserve everything" attitude that you've got. It won't help you in life.

I checked out the threads you have started and:

A) You haven't (at least I didn't see any started any threads that have been done before.

B) The only "aggressive comment" was made by a memeber who had less than 100 posts, and is now sent off for life.

C) Other than that I didn't see anyone beeing rude to you

you can use the search button on top, and type in the words/topic of the thread you are going to start.

Please correct me if one of the above statements is false.

You've got it all wrong lads!

It's not about people being rude to me. I don't give a toss if someones rude to me or not to be honest with you. It's more the snooty attitude that comes across in alot of the posts. Thay seem to think I automatically understand how to use this site and the sort of etiquette that's required. All I wanted was the answer to a simple fucking question and instead I got alot of grief cos i'd posted a thread that already existed. Hardly the end of the world is it.
And for the guy who seems to think I had a bad upbringing, thats bullshit. That's the kinda comment that I don't need and you need to get your facts straight (maybe take a break from posting every hour of every day) We're not all pes insight veterans (Thank God)

Like I said these comments don't disturb or upset me. It's just that this forums really useful but alot of people seem to think they are superior to everyone else. I don't hate everyone I just think that manners and common courtesy are pretty important things and they seem to be lacking around here.
