Automatic passing and other things

Hi,

I'm still playing the PES 5 demo
i notice that sometimes the players from the team i'm controlling performs some things by they own, like passing(sometimes the ai choose not the better positionated palyer), faults, shoots, etc.
is there a way in the full version to disable this??? i mean i dont like my players make things i dont order

I've never noticed this. You might have selected the option where you play with the CPU's help, it's at the bit where you choose what controllers are on what side.

yea same with me ..I DIDN'T have that problem ..it s as luga said ..contoroler choose screen got option to chose ur side and also add virtual player to ur side or cpu side

you lost me there, this is my first pes experience(<-- retired fifa player)
you know a place where i can see how this works? url, mannual, etc?

Pause the match and go to Player Settings.
Then make sure that your controller is set to one side and all the rest are in the centre. CPU players are shown as gray icons on one side. Go to these and move them to the centre and when there is only one controller on the side you should have full control of each player under the cursor. Good luck.

Firstly don't listen to the two above ^^

At the controller screen, if you have press R2 or R1 it changes two options at the controller select screen.... 1 is the goalie, manual or auto, or the other is how FAST the comp swaps player automatically for you.

This has nothing to do with what your on about.

To range the passing to the player you want, all you need to do is hold the button down longer of less... you will adapt... trust me, takes some time getting use to.. so if u have a 5 man midfield and want to spread the play to the far side bypassing the central midfielders, hold the button down for a LONG time, however if you want to bypass 1/2 midfielders... then hold it for about 1.5 seconds maybe...

btw, when passing always take a touch until you really get use to the feel of your team and players, some players have no problem doing one touch stuff, but some players need to take a touch or two, else the passing will suck.

I use R2 without moving the analogue stick to control... then pass, makes passing VERY easy and then use the one touch stuff for the edge of the area, to break down the defence.
