I use only 3 defenders, and as such I want those 3 guys to move as close as possible to the goalie. I use 0 on the team style's backline depth, but still they frequently move forward.

Team has four guys up front and a third of my centre-backs thinks it's a good idea to try to attack himself? Delusional. Is there any tricks for this?

Set player's cards to "defence", and man mark some attackers with your defenders.That should keep your defence in position, but knowing flaws of this game, I cannot guarantee u that it'll work perfectly.

Make sure none of your CBs have the "Extra Attacker" card enabled, and that you do not have "CB Overlap" in your strategy section, especially if they're set to auto.
