Er, yes you can. Follow my guide in the downloads sections. But you need to have an original PES5 to be able to patch your disc image.

I have a nocd crack to play without the dvd in the drive, but obviously you MUST have the original to play the game, online or offline!
If you don't have it, go buy it, you can get it cheap on www.play.com and it's worth it!!!!

Are we talking PS2 version here? If so, use my guide. If it's info on the PC version then I have no idea!

is it possible to play a backup of we9 (us copy) online?...i followed few guides but i keep getting the error when i get to the dnas part...if ne1 can help thanx.

you need to patch the discs ID (DNAS) with windip, go to afterdawn.com
Ok I have been searching everywhere and I cant find an answer.... apologise if it was asked before but couldnt see any answer there.
Have a modded PS2 think its Magic 3 Mod, only did it for patching and imports, am thinking to go Online with PES5. My original PES5 is severly scratched so am off to buy a new copy (dont wanna use a backup online). Is it possible to play PES5 online with modded ps2 but an original game, will DNAS detect the chip, do I have to turn the mod chip off... dont know how, and also wondering if a ps2 network adaptor will be accepted by my modded ps2.
