Bad News About Pes 2009 Demo

I hate to inform everyone with this news but Konami UK has confirmed that the demo will no be released tomorrow. This is what they had to say to a gaming website called Video gamer.

"We've never said tomorrow," said the rep. "There will be a demo in due course. Our announcement will be made in conjunction with Sony."

Sorry everyone for this bad news but i thought all pro fans deserved to know this important but bad news. This time it seems to be true and there is a very small chance of it being a lie.

I feel exactly the same about the matter muzza798 but i would have much preferred Pes 2009 (In my opinion a much better game) but i for now i have to put up with the Fifa 09 demo what a shame.

konami are gonna loose so many fans cos of this. All the casual gamers will play the fifa demo first, fall in love with it and then buy it. By the time the pes demo for 2009 comes out ill be middle aged, have a wife and 2 kids and wont even have a console

They haven't denied it, and the guy over at PELLUK is adament that the demo will be released tomorrow. He has been spot on about every leak for the past 2 months, (obviously). The demo for PES 2008 was released 5 weeks before the game, and with PES 2009 set for a 17th October release date, it would mean tomorrow is 5 weeks before the release date again, hence more suspicion that the demo will be released tomorrow.

I'm not saying for definete it will be released tomorrow, just what I've been told. Remember Konami's aim this year ? "Minimum fuss, maximum impact". Sort of makes sense when you think about it.

Don't be so quick to dismiss it, at this moment it's 50/50 whether it will be released tomorrow by the looks of it.

Konami are not doing themselves any favours by not releasing it on the same day as the fifa 09 demo, once again poor marketing by konami as they are what muzza sead gonna lose even more fans because they will get frustrated & angry, due to konami's keeping everything under our hats till the last second marketing.

Konami haven't done themselves any favours but they also haven't crucified PES.

on the contrary, a crappy 2 minute half of a FIFA demo (if its the same lenght as 08) will just make people releaved at the PES demo coming soon.

i remember xbox 360 getting it like 4 weeks earlier than the ps3 so hopefully there only talking about the ps3 version as you said in accordance with sony. either way i never really believed it would be released on the same day as FIFA, just hoped, and i aint gonna stop hoping until i get in from work tommorrow and check marketplace.

From what people said about the FIFA demo for '08 being nothing like the real game , EA shot themselves in the foot there because it fucking put me right off the game.

They'd have been better not bringing out a demo at all. Which was the case for Pro on the PS3.

come on people. how can you blame Konami for not releasing it?
If I now start to spread false rumour that Pes 2012 will be released 15.12.2008. Does it mean Konami must release it or they have betrayed their fans?

Ofcourse it would have been good to get the demo tomorrow but Konami never said it.
