BAL Camera?

Hi peeps!Been playing PES all year on PS3 master league top player.Im in season 2022 and wanted a new challenge after scoring over 300 goals last season.Ive decided to start BAL,have managed after one match to sign for Fulham where after 3 training matches made it to subs bench and a few matches later got into the England squad!Ive got the game on beginner because im a BAL virgin!Im finding it hard getting used to the set camera angle when dribbling(feels like a Spectrum game at times)any advice?What is the prefered camera angle to play?Id conduct a pole but my PC knowledge is well,Spectrum like!

The wide camera, the one where you will always run upwards (on the D-pad, stick or otherwise) agains't the opposite goal and downwards (same) when you're defending.

It works really good you will mostly see what's going on on the pitch without getting either you or the ball out of frame. Also, you will see the exact position of the defenders and will be able to make pretty good runs.

Yep,ive tried a few angles now and that one does work best!Just love the way the game plays on ML etc and its took some getting used to on BAL.Which level have you started BAL on as ive seen your not enjoying your present club!Ive moved from Fulham to Torino now and doing okay

I have it on player cam but with the camera following the ball. It took a while to get used to but I love it now! It seems far more realistic then the default angle. You actually feel like you're the player

I'm like you considine46 and have spent 90% of my time on Masters Lg. I've finally got it to BAL in the last couple of weeks and I'm nearly at the end of my first season playing for Hull. I turned down contracts from West Ham, Sunderland and Newcastle to stay with them and it looks like they're going down now :crymore:

Personally i actually quite like the default cam now..after many seasons lol. The only downside is when it suddenly changes its angle when running tight down the wing with a defender causing you to give the ball away or run off the pitch...and also when it makes you pull off some kinda stevie wonder pass during a good bit of build up play.
Tbh the wide cam is probably the best one in a sense as it doesnt seem so alien compared to the default cam.

Which level have you started BAL on as ive seen your not enjoying your present club!

Regular.

I've noticed how anything lower than that is just too easy and anything higher just makes the game too unbalanced for me at this point. I might move it up as I get better at the game but really, BAL is 60% your own skill and perception and 40% AI stupidity. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.

And having played a lot of BAL I've noticed that Regular provides the most balanced gameplay for me.

And before anyone calls me on it - no, its not as easy as it would seem, what with a lot of players scoring 8-10 goals every match on Top Player. If I win a match, it's usually with a realistic score (1-0, 2-1 etc) and a game that has more goals then three is extraordinary.

But then again, I also try to play realistically - eg, I don't take the ball and shot feint my way through the whole defense, never passing my teammates.

Well next season am going to raise my difficulty level up one notch from beginner.I just want to unlock all the trophies then graduate upto top player.Then theres the Legends on network to do!Should be fully used to the camera angle then,so hope to play you guys!Then when thats done PES2010 will be available!Ahh the sweet circle of life!!!
