1st season 7 goals (west ham)
2nd season 9 goals (west ham)
3rd season 13 goals (west ham)
4th season 17 goals (man utd)
5th season 13 goals so far at 22 games in (man utd)

So, don't expect huge amount of goals until 4+ seasons

Hi Im in my first season too, started with Aston Villa and stayed during the first negotiations even though payment hasnt gone up. I've cemented my spot in the starting XI as CF, should warn others though this really isnt easy at Villa in a first season with Carew, Agbonlahor, Young, Harewood and Routledge upfront and all regularly putting in solid performances. I found I was getting dropped if I got less than 6.0 on the ratings.

I've played about 30 games so far in first season and scored 6 (hatrick before half-time in league against arsenal) with about 10 games to go. Really want to leave Villa though its frustrating having two WFs playing along side you who always try to go through on goal themselves from the wings. Aiming for 10 goals, wanna go to a championsleague team end of season.

I'm still in my 1st season.

Aston Villa 4 goals 4 assists
(Moved to Manchester City in transfer window)
Manchester City 0 goals 0 assists

Wish I never moved to City now. They play a 4-5-1 and they've stuck me up front.

Well, just completed my first BAL season at A.Villa - 11 goals/3 assists.

So annoyed though, wanted to go to a top club end of season. First 4 weeks I had great offers from Tottenham (won the league) 14th in rankings or something (however I hate them), Man City and Blackburn. Decided to wait till the last few weeks to see what came as some weeks I was getting 6 offers.
Anyway, last two weeks my only offers were r Bolton which I was never gonna go to and Aston Villa. Decided to stay but we finished 12th in league and we've got a stupid team. This season we kept winning games like 4-0 against the top clubs, then just losing 3-0 to teams like Stoke and Westbrom, so frustrating! Will hopefully be leaving to a good club in first negotiations though.

So to follow up on my last post...I finished that season with 28 goals. I then signed for Chelsea (from Spurs...oh dear) to find that their team had deteriorated - No Lampard, Cech, Joe or Ashley Cole and Ballack. But I have managed 20 goals with a good few games left. My best advice for scoring goals is anticipation of where the ball will be and playing off the shoulder of the last defender

First season on BAL i spent at middlesborough, made bench in about 7th week and was regular starter by about week 10. So far played 23 games (some as subs) and scored 12 goals with 12 games in the league left. Have been on a crazy run of 6 goals in 5 consecutive games. Also got my first ever 8.0 rating after coming on as half-time sub against westbrom and scoring, with 100% pass rate.

First season on top player, with Portsmouth, I scored 27 goals. Most of these were corners at the near post and shots from an angle inside of the box.

Hah, I only scored 2 goals with one assist.

In the training matches I know I scored at least 6, but that was a while ago and I don't quite remember.

Yeah I was pretty useless just starting out in my first season, I got no goals and 1 assist at Pompy in 14 matches, I had an average rating of 6.42 = terrible.
Luckily I'm banging them in now though.

what game level are you?

I'm playing at regular at the moment, although I can play at harder difficulties I choose not to because I prefer the ease of movement; playing when you only have one second to react when you get passed to on higher difficulties is not my idea of fun.
