your argument is muddled, changing from one thing to an another.some of the things you have said are just wrong.like,'..If your team gives a weak performance, there's no chance you'll get in control so a weak rating like 6.5 is given..Sometimes the game makes your player slow and heavy while your team is giving a weak performance. When that happens there's no chance you'll get a 7.'thats not true.it's possible for YOU to still play well and be in control of YOUR actions and get a good rating,no matter how YOUR team is performing.you don't even have to score a goal or assist if your on the losing side, and you can still get above 7.
mate i don't want to argue with you,but you are constantly contradicting yourself as well.anyway lets argree to disagree.again, not being sarcastic, but i do know from experience.

Ok then. I have a different game as that happens to me. ;) I told you it can even be a simple game cheating thing. Or maybe because I was in the 2nd season. Now that I'm in the 4th, it's different. I didn't say that when your team is loosing, you'll always get a 6.5. I meant that if your team is loosing and you only score a goal and you don't get involved more, then that's a 6.5. But if you score a goal and keeps getting involved (like dribbling around players) then that will be a 7+ even if your team is loosing.

Hi

Iv spen a while making new players and playing the training match in different ways

the method that got me the highest stats was playing the scout game and running threw everything on the command list

after doing this iv noticed that it gives me alot higher stats in all areas

take a look, after the scout match. i consier these high for a new player

if anyone has anything better post it up, i believe the way to better stats is to start with as high as possible

im on xbox 360

everything I would need as a CF is near 75, which is high since o have played no games yet

what to you guys think

^No I think. I scored 5 (on regular diff.) and played extremly well. No missed passes and almost all shots on target with 300+ distance dribled and got an 8.0

^8.5? I scored 5 golas as I said (regular diff) and almost all passes were on target and didn't miss a shot and I still got 8. This was in season 3. Maybe if I pregress more, I can get it?

Somehow the rating system seems a bit too focussed on how much you dribble with the ball.
I've played for Chelsea last season, mostly in the CMF position, my special abilities are playmaking, center and dribbling, I started as AMF.
When playing in this position I did my normal best of course, and usually got a 6.5 rating. This only went up when I actually dribbled more with the ball and wasnt so much influenced by assists or goals. Of which I didnt get a whole lot. Although I got 12 in the league, which was second in the assist ranking.
Now I transfered to Liverpool for the current season, where I play as a CF. And I usually get a 7.5 rating. Even when I dont score or assist. But generally I'm more involved in action on goal, with almost assists, shots on goal etc.
And there's usually more space to run into with the ball, thus I get a lot more distance dribbled.
In comparison, also, it seems that its less of a problem to lose the ball to a defender when playing as CF. As this seemed to me the factor that lowered my rating when playing as CMF.

In the end I just quit Chelsea after that season again as there were only old players there and it didnt seem to get any better. Having a much better time at Liverpool now. :)

To me it seems that the rating system doesnt factor in the position you play really well and values the dribbling factor way too much.

I got an 8.0 rating on a loss the other day. (Regular)

Shows you that A.S. Roma can't win without me. I had just recovered from an injury and they didn't start me. I was subbed in near the end of the game and only got 19 minutes in.

It does matter for sure, that distance dribbled in just 19 minutes is a lot! But of course the goal helps..

On top player you usually get only a 7 or 7.5 then though.

What annoys me sometimes though is that when you're subbed in and are just within the timeframe of getting a rating, say 10 minutes, you really have to do something spectacular to keep up the average rating.. if you get the ball only twice or so, you usually end up with a 5.5 which sucks.

it didn't matter at all. the reason he got 8 rating was because he scored as a sub. you can have 1 touch on the ball, and score as a sub-and you'll get 8 rating.

He scored yes, but if you get the distance dribble high enough (when you start the match) and you score, you'll get an 8. But when you're subbed, the goal matters a bit more. Still, to get an 8, you have to dribble a certain amount and score too.

^ I politely disagree. I've gotten 8.0s without all that dribbling just by scoring or making an assist, whether as a sub or not.

mw too. someone who is playing as a sub: do a test and try not getting the ball at all, only when your going to score.
i think that if you score and dont even touch the ball more than twice, you'll get a good rating. (as a sub)

I'm not saying it's the most thing that matters. If you score and make an assist, you'll be involved in the 2 goals,so it's an obvious 7.5 or 8. But whenever I had high distance dribbled I always ended up with a higher rating.
