ive read about bal on ps3, about how you have to play training matches and how you are told which position the team want to play you in. Does this occur in the ps2 version as i cant find it anywhere. thanks

I've seen here how PS3/XBOX/PC version is and I can tell you, PS2 version is quite poor in comparison to the others.
It's really a shame, because the most of the differences don't require higher CPU capacity or something. They could be implemented in PS2 version as well.
As Forzamilan said in this forum and I agree with him, it is a way to "force" PS2 owners to change to the new generation consoles.

I agree as well. The only thing that is too bad though is that the PSP version seems to be based on the PS2 version as well, which means that that version is also much poorer in general. They should base it more on the PS3 version instead, since there's no "next gen" PSP
