20 consecutive games online now and at least Barcelona or Real Madrid is picked by my opponent. I'm sick of it. I do win the majority of games, but it's boring to constantly play the same match over and over again. Each time I set up a ranked online match I look at what my opponent picks, thinking maybe this time something different, but then my heart sinks again when I see the scroll across to the spanish league and once again Barcelona is selected.

I seriously don't understand people, why they want to play a game and just select the same team all the time? Why do these people not get bored of picking Barcelona all the time? I mean even if you pick Barcelona every single game, and that makes you win all the time, does it not get repeatative and boring???

Surely there could be ways in which Konami could improve the online ranked match experience. Maybe something like a player can only select a team once in every 5 games. So someone picks Barcelona, then the next game they play Barcelona are locked for selection until another 4 games when they can select them again. I think something like this would make everybodies experience of online gaming a lot more exciting, including the Barce whores, who I think being forced to play as different teams they might learn to change their ways and enjoy a different variety of matches.

I agree with you 100% mate. Normally, when I complain about it they change, but they 99.9% choose Barça or Real.At least, we have that feeling of satisfaction when you beat the crap out of them.

very annoying especially when i pick everton 1st, then defend most the game and manage to score with my only attack only for messi or villa to score two goals in the last 10 mins cos there fatigue levels never end!!!!! i suppose its only fair that everton should or would get dominated by barca but its just so easy to use barca to win it seems pointless to me also

Konami should come out with a system that you could filter certain teams, a star system that lets you pick the category of teams you want to use and play against online. This way all the Barca/Real retards could play together and ppl that want to play different teams and could play without having to worry about those losers. So tired of it, this is one part of the game that is killing it more than anything else IMO!

yeah, I left the friendly room after the second time because I knew I would just draw him again.

seems to be very few people in the friendly room. On many nights, I gave up and went to ranked 1v1 to get a game in.

You would think when someone picks say a chievo or Montpellier the other person who was barca or real would bring down their team but alas no. So if you set up a lobby can you state the type of team one can choose?

good point this, prob more realistic this year, i have to work my balls of picking everton but last year i dominated the top teams easily, makes it more satisfying tho wen i hit the onion bag

Noobs will be noobs. They want to LOOK good, they want to feel good about themselves, but since they don't have the remote skill to prove it, they will do everything they can to do better, so they will pick the overpowered teams.

Why do you think that people use the ump in MW3?

Anyway, I totally agree that Konami should make some sort of playlist for mediocre teams that does not involve Barca or Real.

What Konami ought to do is what Guerilla did on Killzone2 by allowing you to customise the lobby from classes to weapons available, in this instance, restricting specific teams. I played a host of games on Monday with a mate 2v2 online and we mainly played as Everton. We made it clear in the lobby, EPL only and average teams. We got this fuck wit continually pleading to use Barca and when we insisted NO he chose Chelsea. We still beat him. He chose Man City and we beat him again as Everton. In fact he got the hump because we play defensive long ball larry. He even picked Atletico Madrid. We beat him 4-2 using Everton. It was quite satisfying but man alive this constant Barca whoring has gone too far. Lets block them, Madrid and Milan and be done with it.

Well, when they enter your room, just look at the last 5 teams they have been. If you see they've picked Real/Barca every game, kick 'em!
