hi i just tried the jonboyos patch on my ps2 using the slide card it came to the language menu then i chose English then it went on to the 50/60Hz menu where i chose the 50hz one after that nothing came on the screen it was a blank screen. Im not sure y its not working can sum1 plz help me. Jonboyos patch is for PES4 isnt it there4 it shud work cos i made an original iso of PES4 using DVD Decrypter. Can Sum1 plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Help me.

No, you have to have a modded PS2. Max-Drive are not for patching the game, they are to insert modified Option Files with Real names etc. on.

By the way Zyg, What happened to that 'Ways of Playing Patched and Imported Games' ?

Is it possible to use an DVD-RW? I tried it once on another game... But my ps2 didn't even react to the disc... No "Red smoke", no nothing.

...I bought some Sony DVD+R's off ebay and have finally managed to patch my PES. Worked perfectly.

So that definitely is a case of some PS2's preferring DVD+R's, others preferring DVD-R's.

Edit by mod: I am a tit for quoting the whole first post when there was no need to. I will try not to do this again in future.






I just managed to Patch my WE8 with the Reefur update patch, absoloutely amazin. I wasted at least 10 DVD-R trying though.... A big tip-- after dowloading everything you need (see above) before you actually apply ppf patch to your clean ISO of Original WE8 using PPF Omatic, RESTART your PC!!...then apply patch using PPF Omatic. Once again after it has told you that it has been patched successfully, click ok and then Again RESTART your PC!!!!. Don not open anything else when you restart your PC not even Internet to check these threads!!... go straight to your Burn programme, I used Nero, and burn the patched ISO....... I managed to burn at the lowest speed possible to me X4 took about 8 mins. worked a treat.....By the way I was using DVD-R and Swap Magic Slide tool.

There are patches for the xbox version. They have different methods to apply them. Check the xbox section of File Downloads.

wen i decrypt my pes 4 (xbox) using dvd dycrypter it only decrypts video files any1 no wot am doing rong???

You cannot Decrypt Xbox version of PES4, PC's do not recognise Xbox games at all.
