Become a legend - what's the use of the salary??

i have never used them. but maybe they are good for the online Legends mode?

They don't have a use. Which is really disappointing, I'm sure Konami could of thought up an idea. Maybe, i dunno, use them to buy accessories instead on them just being there already? Like be able to buy boots, bands, possibly tattoos etc. Would be better i guess than them having not use at all.

i have a feeling that it's the value at which your new team treats you. like if two teams give you offers and they offer 530 and 580 respectively, the 580 team will probably start you sooner, more often, basically, make you more important on their team.

this slightly makes sense because its the only way i know of that konami can program a way for the player to gauge his potential importance on a team before accepting the offer.

In the BAL menu, there is an item "Legends > assistants" (I don't know if "assitant" is the good translation, as my game is in french)

It seems your BAL salary can "buy" CPU assistants that will play with you on "Legends online", and replace the original master league caracters.

Can anyone confirm ?

Here's a tip for BAL...if you're name isnt in the commentary choose the name Ooijer...that way the commentator will cry oooooh-yeah when u get the ball. haha.

hahaha thats a good one, yeah it seems the higher Salary you get the better the players you can use as Assistants for Legends Online.

yer the salary is used for buying players for legends online to help you, theres a thread on it in pes 2009 discussions.
