Take your finger of the run button. I always finish 90 minutes. You don't need to run down every ball. Just jog about and keep good position. You can run your ass off late in the game if you feel the urge.

how many training matches do u need to play? I have played afew and done well in training scoring goals and assisting etc but can't break into the man city first team!

I was also at Man City. Think it took me around 5-6 matches as I'm a AMF/CMF and Man City have quite a few of those... At the end of the second season I moved to Spurs, god knows why... Stayed with them for a whole season and was getting played regularly towards the end. But they it was coming to the point where they was playing me too much! I was fatigued every match... At the end of that season, I was praying for a Liverpool offer, but it never came... :fplm: Instead, I got a offer from Arsenal... I hate Arsenal, but because their ranked well I went. It only took 2, yes 2! training matches to break into the first team. Halfway through the season I got a call from England :w00t scored in one of the qualifiers! Then the first negotiations came, and I was still hoping for that Liverpool offer, instead this time Man Utd made an offer... But sorry, as much as I hate Arsenal, I hate Man Utd MORE! Now I'm towards the end of my third season, COME ON LIVERPOOL FFS!

I started at Sunderland, getting a first team place. Then moved to Newcastle who turned out to be even shitter. FINALLY scored my first goal (at which point I shouted GOOOOOOOOAAAAL at the top of my voice), also it was against Citeh so was even better.

Just joined Fulham as I was about to seriously injure Damien Duff in training. That greedy downy never passed to anyone and kept losing possesion.

Last game came off bench to set Kamara up for the equaliser against the bindippers :)

I love this mode, far more so than the FIFA version, which I thought to be odd that Jack Wilshere walks into the Arsenal first team at 16.

I started with Vittesse and got into the team after about 8 training matches and saw them struggle in the bottom half, so January came and I decided to join Spartak Moscow. I'm now just coming up to my first year with them and I think I'll stay in the January window as I like getting regular games. I have been subbed off a lot when I start, around the 65 minute mark, but I'm beginning to last to about 75 now. Scored 6 career goals, but it is frustrating how you can't beat your man very well and your shooting is terrible at 18!

A very good addition to PES and restores my faith after last year's version scared me off to FIFA.

EDIT: sorry this double posted.

What I like about the mode so much is that it makes you feel the sort of emotions real players must feel when they're trying to break into the first team. The joy when you finally score and then again when you get your first goal for the team, that feels great. Then the lows of being subbed off, especially when having been subbed on! Seeing your team-mates squander a lead when on the bench. It's all there.

Lord knows how it'll feel at the end of the player's career and you have to retire...

Basic question as a newbie here - which camera angle is recommended for legend and is it best to follow the ball or follow the player? thanks in advance

most people say the vertical cam is the best but I use the same camera angle as I use for exhibition mode (wide) and i follow the ball..i use the radar to stay in position..I find it much easier to control the player like this and my overall performance was much better than my last created player in this angle(I started off using vertical cause someone recommended it..its all about preference though I suppose)..Interesting to see what other peoples ideal camera setting is though.

ROFL... I know what your mean... Its so god damn tempting to take out your competition. As for scoring... I hit myself and shout at the monitor when I miss a clear cut chance lol... Because I play as a CMF these chances to come round regularly.

Is it me, or am I imagining this... Whenever the 60-70min mark comes around, and you have started the match, does the ball ALWAYS seem to go out of play during that time just so you can come off????

Either, the defender will lob it out for a throw, your defenders will make a stupid foul, or blaze a shot well over... Just so you get taken off!

I tried using the vertical cam, but for me it sucks... Wide camera is the best for me. You just have to know where all your players are, and keep one eye on the radar.

On my 360, if I try to use the side cameras, the game has very minute jerking, which is most odd as it isn't there in one player exhibition matches.

I'm playing for wigan in AMF.
I played around 4 training games till I got on the bench.
Played couple games and scored a goal to equalize. My gosh when I scored my first goal it was the best feeling in the world. My gf would get jealous if I would explain to her how good it felt to score. Since that game I have been in the starting line up. Thing is I just downloaded a new option file does that mean this is all going to be erased? At work now and didn't think about it till now.. Good luck guys in your mission

Just came on at half time in the second leg of the Italian Cup for Napoli. Lavezzi swings the ball into the box and I score a screamer of a diving header. First goal.

lol this is funny, team went on a 8 match winning drought with 2 losses nd 6 draws, in last 3 matches 3 of the defenders got sent off and in the match where we actually took the lead, defender scores an own goal, then same guy gives away a peno, but luckily they missed, so now the team has blamed me for the lack of wins nd dropped me from their squad, instead of blaming the defenders for getting sent off nd scoring own goals, he blames me, when 80% of my passes r to my players and turn out an all round good performance lol.

BACK TO TRAINING FOR ME! :p

I'm in my 3rd season I think, And they seem to be going up slower than when I first started off... But I think this is because your getting older maybe? Although the strength experience points seem to be going up the same. As for the check boxes and hidden stats, I think these will go up when your older. I'm hoping we can pick and choose.

Just seems odd that you more or less stop gaining experience from matches already when youre 18-19 - I was just wondering if I was missing something, but that doesnt seem to be the case.
