I have played two games as a sub... including the second half of the derby against Newcastle, which we won!

I am not even getting close to scoring... I play too deep as a centre midfield - I allow my teammates to go up and I stay on the edge of the box and knock it back in when its cleared. Not had one shot (even in training games) from inside the box.

anyway, if ur under pressure chances are u will fluff the shot. Especially when our shooting stats are totally garbage. In order to pull of a good shot under pressure we'd have to get a pretty decent Shot Technique attribute but we all know what we get :fplm:.

Other than that there isn't much we can do. You could try making space for urself by pushing the ball forward in front 1st but given the lousy ball control that scenario is rather difficult since we'd prolly overpush it and give it to the opponents.

Dunno for sure if this works, but I heard if you quickly double tap the shoot button it does a hard shot. I believe it was MatTheCat or someone like that who said the first time you press shoot it choses height, second time choses power, so in theory if you pressed it really lightly at first it would shoot low, then you press it quiet hard the second time, it'll do a hard low shot.

Could all just be jibberish mind

Are all the stamina's set? Cuz i've created a number of players to see if it varies and so far in all my creations, the players i received had a Stamina of 82 too. I'm probably gonna stick with this recent one that i created too since it has the best stats i've gotten to date for a starting player. Accel & Speed are all above 75, mentality is above 80 and almost everything else are either above or in the high 60s. Certainly would save me lotsa trouble in strengthening them evenly.

though it would be abit regrettable to give up on my old file. Managed to get the accel and speed up to a decent amount, 2 seasons in and he had a top speed of 92 while accel was 84.

Hi,

Just traded FIFA in for PES so i've left the EA forum and have arrived here.

I've just started BAL mode, its brilliant, lol and i've only played the scout match and two training matches.. I was wondering if any of you, who are further into the BAL mode know whether you can play in the official champions league in this mode? Or is the European cup just a random one?

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if the offical champions league is in Master League mode?

yeah newcastle have 2 steven taylors!

so my career headed south.

I picked up an injury at the start of the 3rd season, put me out for a while. I got back into the team scored a few and got quite a few assists before picking up another injury.

I didnt have time to regain my place before the season was over and i wasnt offered a new deal! (i was the best midfielder we had!)

so playing out the offers i ended up in holland at voldenham. 3 games to get into the team and an MOM and my debut as sub. im gonna rock in this league from midfield and move to someone good in january i hope! :lol:

Wooo Excuse my ignorance you can get injured BAL ? lol thats pretty cool. Man I would get pissed if I got injured.

The CL is a separate mode. It's not in either the Master League or Become A Legend.

4th season on top player nd i actually start to score goals lmao, ive played like 16 games scored 7 goals im happy with that compared to other seasons where ive had 27 games nd 3 goals lol, im a aston villa btw, Carew nd Abonglahor are amazing!


oh yeah and we beat man utd 3-0 :) well not so gd as i support them but big achievement :) i scored, should have been to buy i accidently pressed a instead of x nd i cleared it off man utd's line lmao.

I'm in my second season at Man City, I've got 8 goals in 20 games which isn't as good a goalscoring rate as my first season but my ratings have been a lot better as my stats have improved and I can get involved in the build up. We're in 3rd at the moment which is amazing as we finished 14th last year.
