Ok, so i haven't started a thread in a while and have wanted to make this one for a while now...
Post your best comebacks. Primarily against human opponents, but if it was against the CPU and was that special, go ahead. But please, no lies...

Mine was on pro evo 3. I was round my cousins' house in Brighton for the summer and we were playing pro at around 10 at night.
He was Liverpool (4-3-3), i was Real Madrid (4-4-2), 10 minute match. It was all going smoothly until he scored 2 in quick succession (can't remember who and how exactly, was long ago). 2-0 him. I changed my formation to 3-4-3 and was pressing him for like 5 minutes straight, but one swift counter put him 3-0 up with 30 mins gone. At this point i was pretty disheartened but carried on attacking when disaster struck, 4-0! Then half time...
At the formation screen, i was going to turn the ps2 off (bad i know) just to ease the pain of humiliation but decided against it since i would have to wait for him to play my other cousin (his brother) for a rematch.
I therefore opted to carry on, but to the constant mocking and teasing from him and his brother. Same formation, and lifeline...4-1! few mins later, 4-2! I could sense something special and he persisted in chanting (Ye ye, you'll never equalise!') Then, before he could utter another comment, 4-3! I was almost crying of joy by now, the game was in my hands, with 20 mins or so left to play.
He then started moaning how the CPU was cheating his players off the ball and how he couldn't control them (switch players) and how he would never play again if i beat him (that's how sure he was he wouldn't lose). Then, Zidane and that bald head of his bursts into the box, cuts across, and unleashes a terrific shot, and 4-4!! (I can't stress enough how true this is!)
I didn't even celebrate out loud because i desperately wanted to achieve the impossible. Finally, and you wouldn't believe it, Ronaldo dashes into the area, strikes it and the ball hits someone on the arm, and the ref blows the whistle.
Being pro 3 you'd think, as i did, that the ball had hit a Real player's arm and it was a free kick against me, but no, not this time, it was a PENALTY!! The captain Zidane stepped up and calmly slotted home, with like 1 min left!!!
My cousin was livid to say the very least and all he could do after kick-off was get it to the wing when the ref blew for the end of the match!! I win, 5-4!
Now it was my turn to laugh, and that i most certainly did. I pranced around him calling him a loser and he flipped. He pushed me down on the bed, i got up and he pushed me again, then a scramble broke out but i was still laughing. He just walked out, disgusted with himself, and rightly so, lol.
Many of you will think i'm lying like a bitch but i swear this happened. It goes down in my pro history books as my most satisfying game ever.
