Hey Guys,

Im playing a Tourament this weekend with a load of mates for the International cup.

Any tips on how I can win it?
My country is England.
Whats the best team England can put out without all the classic players?

What would your first Eleven Be????

i would use the default starting 11.

and get 'whos your daddy' put as your signiture then u don't haved to type it every time.

use the default starting team, but change heskey.....TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and if you dont fancy putting any reserves on, then play with 10 men!!! but DONT PLAY HESKEY!!

You'll only encourage him..........


by the way i'm not a fan of his.....

Play with the starting Eleven but change Dyer for J. Cole. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Also, have a good 30 mins to an hour on free training practising free kicks with Beckham. You never know, it could decide who wins.

I always use the default team but change Heskey with Vassell. I played in a mini-league with my mates last week, i was England, they were Real Madrid, Arsenal and AC Milan. I came top mwahaha :D

well i play updated rooney in the hole (dyer off- gerrard left mid)

and beattie upfront with owen (created)

so cant really help

vassels decent enough

daddymac, you should maybe change your defenders to play as CBs instead of SBs. And maybe change the wide players to be SMFs instead of all of them as OMF.

Lampard is a good option to replace Butt.
Hargreaves does well when he comes on as sub (as a SMF).

I play Owen with Vassel usually.

Robinson is better than James for a few things but overall, James has the superior stats so give them both a go to see who does better for you. They are both prone to making silly mistakes so you may have to consider a back 4.

daddymac, u cant leave out Gerard in the team, even if he is underrated in the game. I always use the default team except I put Rooney in for Heskey, although Heskey can be good at times.

Now that Ive got the transfer option, I made a few changes. Barry in for Murphy & Alan Thompson in for J. Cole (I know these arent in the squad YET, but the left needs to be sorted out - big pity theres no Bridge). Butt played too well in the World Cup to be left out so I put him in for Lampard (which thankfully turned out to be a good move). Also Mills in for Woodgate (didnt want to let Woodgate go but need a recognised RB) and Smith in for Jeffers (Jeffers is much worse than Heskey). So what do you think?

I haven't left Gerrard out at all!!!
His a Top player for me.
Not sure about Mills I think Brown is a good RB and Bridge can be created for getting stats and all in here!
Everyone is telling me to use Default setting !!!
DOES THAT MEAN USE THE DEFAULT FORMATION? IF SO THEN WHAT ABOUT OTHER THINGS LIKE ATTACK AND DEFENDS SETTING ETC?

Well you were a whole country while they were just a team...very good teams...but teams none the less...doesn't seem very fair....

I don't think Real Madrid would complain too much! Real Madrid are better than the Spain, Portugal and quite a few more teams.

Counter Attack as a tactic does seem to be effective.

i realise Real Madrid aint the best team, juve and arsenal seems to be better. and real dont really have quality depth. btw have you guys come across some team's default formation that dont really go up and support the attack? i mean the midfield is very far from the attack(u guys get what i mean?) do u guys change/edit the position?
