Best PES 5 patch for the PS2?

I've just got the new PES 5, and its awesome~!

I've never patched before, but I wanted to add a patch (not an option file) to it, but it seems like there are so many different bunch of patches...

My question is simply, which ONE patch, or group of patches should I download?
Any suggestions?

thank you.

There's lots of good patches out there.

I've heard that the PES-x-ppf patch is good. And so is the WEmerica patch (WE9 & PES5) and Fishcake patch.

It depends on what you want from a patch really.

I wouldn't download a patch right now if I were you though. I have a feeling that there'll be quite a lot of activity in the January transfer window.

Which means that any patches out there at the moment will have updates (for the January transfer window). But you need both the original patch and the January update patch in order to have a fully up to date PES5.

This is what I'm doing. I'm waiting for an update patch to be made for the January transfer window.

Only then will I download the original patch, apply it, download the January update patch, apply that and then burn back to DVD-R.

I realise this won't happen until 1st February 2006 at the earliest. But, it's worth the wait in my opinion.

the nesta patch is good but for you'r first time go for a ppf it's alot simpler but sooner or later you'r going to have to make an iso replace files and so on and so on.This get's a little trickey mostley because of all the tool's you need thankfully most of the questions you have will have allready been answered in the patching thread so good luck and choose wisley no point in wasting discs.

Have a look in the downloads section.

EDIT: It looks like the PES-X-PPF patch is an excellent patch. I'd say it's a good alternative to the old Jonboyo patches.
