Gaffa, give up bro. You aren't going to break them down. They love FIFA because it's "improving" and because it is shiny and pretty and requires no time to adjust to game play. If a game is crap, but steadily improving crap, that doesn't make a good argument to buy the game. For the record, I wouldn't say FIFA 09 is crap, but my point is "tEh gAmeE iS iMproVinG!!$#" is a lame argument and rationale to buy a footie game.
PES hasn't improved because (in the past) it has been solid and didn't have such a low starting point to improve on.

Its hard to improve on such a great thing (Pes) whilst EA are working night and day to develop techniques into how they can best polish a turd.

Fifa fanboys should stfu and gtfo of pesgaming. They're all the same. They they were fans of pes and now they can;t stand it. It doesn't make sense.
Also the be a legend was introduced in 2007 (we 2007) J league and Fifa copied it the next year or a year after, so STFU and learn the facts you idiots.

i do love fifa because its improving, exactly the same as i hated it as it was going down the pan, i'm not as small minded or small bollocked, to actually praise the EA team for ther efforts this year, why not?
i used to slag them off year in year out for not putting the effort in.
all i'm sayin is that yes pes never really had to make such a drastic improvement to make it better, because it was the milestone in football gaming.
pes did take a massive hit with 2008, and it hasnt improved as much over the same year fifa has had which has wound people, including myself up.
i'm not saying fifa has overtaken pes, pes is still the football gamer and my choice, its just fifa is playing a better game this year than it has before and has given ther fans a true next gen game and a good game at that

Mate you keep contradicting yourself. In back to back sentences you say "pes is still the fooball game of my choice." and "fifa is playing a better game this year."
See what I mean? You can't keep talking about how great FIFA is compared to PES and then say "But I like Pes better!" to make yourself seem objective. I've seen you on every thread in this sub-forum and even in ones not even pertaining to game play you bring up how much FIFA is improving. Your right it is. I just ask you move it to the FIFA forums.

i do bring fifa up, why not? i could talk about pes all day i'm just bringing a new light to the subject
if you do read back on my posts you will see that i like fifa better online and pes better online
fifa is great compared to pes online with what it has to offer which i like
pes is better offline for its more freedom in the gameplay which i like
and to close, what i also like this year is that ther is for once is ther is, in my opinion, 2 good football games in ther own rights on the gaming market, pes 2009 and fifa 2009
