I didn't say PES or FIFA is great. I've tried both. They both have their ups and downs. The difference with PES is that its only been out 5 minutes with a update due very soon. So the people that criticise the game should wait for the update to see what they fix. If then, they still don't enjoy it, fair enough... PES ain't for you. But you and allot of others are not giving the game a chance. That's not hinting saying your thick so don't take it the wrong way.

I do think this pes is great, just havung a few problems with the cursors, they dont change as automatically as i would want them to. The opposition attack are so hard to get the poxy ball from and a through ball pretty much puts them 1 on 1 with my keeper every time. The online is still pretty laggy imo. I like the gameplay tho, its much better than fifa (my bro has fifa, every match is the same, its crap) and it makes pes2008 look shit which it was. Top Player is tough but its a good challenge.

its been out for nearly a week now and its still shit online on the consoles so thats not gonna change how ever long i play it
as for this update thats coming out
its not gonna fix the online lets be honest
plus i want a finished game when i buy my games

Sorry to go off topic, but about finished games... I haven't played a finished game since maybe 2000's when Operation Flashpoint was out... That's been 8, yes 8 god damn years I've been waiting... I've had a PS1, PS2, XBOX, 360 and a few PC's not once on any of those platforms have I played a finished game in 8 years... UNTIL NOW! No, its not PES, this is by far finished! But the game is Far Cry 2, truly amazing in every way!

Well something with the console online has to done if its really as bad as you say it is... Maybe they have more traffic than expected... Who knows...

it isnt as revolutionary as other pes games such as ISS Pro evolution soccer 2 on ps1 or pes 3 but so far it is equally as enjoyable.

Don't get me wrong, I've played many games that I have enjoyed, but none have made me say "WOW! Now that's truly amazing!"

As for Project Gotham, r-Factor is my preferred racing sim.

Skies of Arcadia? Not my type of game sorry. BTW My 360 has died, it was only getting used as a DVD player ffs and it died... Pff.... Even though I never used the thing, I'm just letting you know so you don't bring up any more console games

I've been impressed so god damn much with this game its unbelievable. Never have I waited so long for a game to be released, then live up to my expectations. This game is amazing! Money well spent...

I played Winning eleven series,ISS series and PES series like mad when I was younger.Now I prefer to play fifa because I LOVE football.I also play football and I believe fifa is better than pes.(The last 2 years EA made the difference.Konami just made a better version of pes2008)
Why fifa is better?
100% better graphics
The heading system and everything else is improved(passing,shooting e.t.c.)
The goalkeeper and the diffence is difficult to get passed.
In pes you just pick c.ronaldo and run from the one site of the pitch to the other.
When you tackle in pes 99% you get a red card...

MANY LEAGUES?
The teams have the correct players-transfers?

I i bought FIFA 2009 2 weeks ago AND it succ azz i rather play WINNING ELEVEN 8... im gonna wait for PES 2009 and if i dont like it im just gonna way one more year for a real good futbol game cuz there's no way in hell im gonna play FIFA 2009... Best PES?

Well it's certainly not any of the next gen PES's like 2008/2009, the basic game engine they have been built on is the flawed to begin with xbox 360 version of
PES6.

The PES's from Iss Pro to PES6 on PS2/XBOX and PS1 were the best and still play alot better than 2009, my all time is ISS Pro Evo on PS1 and PES2 on PS2.

The latest next gen versions just feel awkward and clunky with poor collision physics, the gameplay just feels stiff and unnatural and doesn't feel as fluid as the old gen games, making the gameplay far less rewarding and dynamic.

PES 2009 is better but I can tell I'm still playing a tweaked PES6 XBOX 360 game.

Back the old consoles for me.

I'm don't owned fifa09, but i have downloaded the demo. I got pes2009 on 17th october. Since i don't have the fifa09 full game, then i can't compared both game. But after 1 weeks i tried pes master league, i can give you some hints.

Gameplay: Last saturday i did analysis deeply, i activate my LCD sony Bravia special features.( Tv screen able to display tv broadcasting and ps3 console gameplay at the sametime), I did the comparison live match in between manu & everton(score result 1-1) while i'm in the middle played master league mode by using manu. from there i can tell you that the gameplay shown in pes2009 definitely 95% close with the real soccer simulation (i'm felt the passing and the pace a bit too quick when i try for first few games) the pace isn't too quick and the short, long passing speed just amaze........

Shooting- the new shooting system just too great. Even a bit harder if you not used to with it. Really close with the real soccer match. I;m sure you won't get bored in terms of scoring style.

I'm waiting for more feedback to see if I should go for fifa or PES this year cause here in the U.S Fifa was already released and PES will be in a month!

Best so far but KONAMI could have done a whole lot better. PES6 was the game to left it's mark in the series. PES 2009 most likely won't top that.

Pes 2009 is better than 6. I think it feels better and since it's harder you'll be more satisfied when you score.
