Best Striker in PES2

I use Shevchenko and Vieri... with Nistelrooy and Henry on the bench... my fav would be Vieri as Shevchenko isn't quite tall enough for my liking ..

I agree with that. But if you have grat wings on the sides like Beckham and Giggs feks then it's good to have perhaps Carew (Roma) and Vieri or Henry. Carew is brilliant in the air.

Olisadebe gets my vote if you're talking about cheap, bargain buy ML players.. but I like playing with Henry, Ronaldo is surprisingly good even tho a lot of people don't like playing with him on pes2. I can't really get going with Vieri, not enough pace

I find Shevchenko & Ronaldo do be most lethal, Batisituta also has 1 hell of a shot.

For me it's Rivaldo. I realise most of you consider to him to be a midfielder, but he's brilliant upfront. For me, I like him as a CF - I don't play many crosses so his headering isn't an issue. As CF, he's able to distributed brilliantly to the right and left forwards, plus his control and shot are magnificent.

Out of the other options, I'd go Henry and Vieri. For classics I'd go Gullit, Pele and Di Stefano.

Bestchastnykh is in PES3 (even though this is a PES2 topic) - he starts at Spartak Moscow, and he's also in the Russia squad.

I think he's left Spartak now in real life, however.

Batistuta was under rated in PES2 discussions... he was an awesome player... although i think he was only in the World Allstars team.. he was class...

PES2 - Shevchenko was heads and shoulders better than all other CF's as far as my playing experience is concerned.
