i think its something to do with the be a legend mode but i could be wrong. that does show of the nice passing and movement but it also sadly shows adriano can score which is laughable, Sobis or Fabiano should partner Robinho up front not Adriano hes a joke!

Adriano is 1 of the few players on pes that are great. He's strong, fast and has the highest shot power.

Over the last couple of years though this hasn't been proven in real life. I think that's the guys gripe here mate.

indeed it is, when he was on the cover of pes 6 he was arguebly the best player on the game, like the chap said hes strong,fast,powerful,accurate and good in the air on pes, it was also that season he scored a mere 6 goals and inter milan decided he wasnt good enough and wanted rid, not sure if theyve managed to get rid of him yet as there were no takers last time i checked.Fabiano was top scorer i think in la liga, or there abouts anyways, Sobis a good up and comer, and even play the young and promising Pato before Adriano, like you say you can change lineups, il prolly change his stats to reflect his actual ability so mates cant just pair him and ibrahimovich up front as always(another player who is overated,flashes of brillance are way to few and far between for both players)

He went on loan last season to Sao Paolo and got his act together by all accounts. Be interesting to see how he fares at Inter this season.

you have got a point there but im going to wait til i have played pes 2009 and fifa 2009 til i make a decision on which 1 is better.
with the videos that are cumin on the net of pes 2009 arent really showin the best of it so the team at WENGB are sayin.

cheers vanbasten. Im all for bigging up pes if it does turn out to be good but one cannot deny that from the videos we have seen, its jsut same old pes 08, in fact you wont be blamed for mistaking it for pes 08.

i just want pes 2009 be amazing when it comes out cus i will have to learn how to play fifa again and aint played it in years lol

tbh I hope fifa 09 smacks pro evo, not because I dislike pes, but because fifa has the licenses, and if its gameplay is imrpoved, it will be no.1.

your wrong, totally wrong.

im not PES fan boy, i hadnt heard of PES untill PES4 came out, and thats only because i bought a magazine to see the new FIFA 05 video lol. The gameplay on fifa is so slow and sluggish, and 09 looks the same 2bh, i know PES 09 doesnt look much different but i think it show promise 2bh. im really bored with fifa 08 at the moment, i played pes for about 3weeks then when of fifa and lost 3-0 as barca against aston villa, ON AMUATURE LOL, it sucked, any way PES will have a longer life span

and thats the bottom line ... coz i say so lol

Why are you being accused of being a Fifa fanboy? Read your previous posts. They have Ronaldo's Free Kick stance...so fucking what? ISS98 had Roberto Carlos'.

You're the kind of person who would buy Fifa 09 if it had updated transfers and Ronaldo's stance, with no other updates on it. It'd still be "breathtaking" to you.
