Hey guys, I live in Honduras, Central America. I've playing for a couple of weeks now on MLO currently in D4 and I have a couple of decent players.

But I wanted to ask you guys whats the best way to make money, is it winning tournaments? Cups? B/C I see other teams with players like Messi, Tevez, etc, etc etc, And I can barely afford players like Nilmar and Falcao.

what do you recommend?

Yep, joining tournaments is a very good way to make money, if you dont have good players, your entrance fee is very low, and even if you lose every game you'd still earn more than not joining them. Also, what I did was when i'm at home doing something else, i just turn on the ps3 and join coachmode competitions,great way to earn money

basically you just set up the formation and ai plays for you,you can change tactics during the game just like normal, nothing too tactical really cause the results are just way too random

I don't find it random.

You do best when you adjust your formation to counter or exploit your opponents. Also, if they have a team with Messi and a bunch of shit players, just man mark Messi, etc.

I can't say entering a tournament is the best way to earn money. First of all if you don't enter at near the beginning time, you may only have enough to play a few matches and may not even break even.

I think the entry fee is usually about 3 times what you earn per match. Depending on which division you're in, you'll also make more money (tournament as well as single game). If you start from the beginning, you have time for about 7 games. Usually if you don't make it past qualifying, you'll make about what you would if you won ~3 matches in a quick game.

It takes about an hour to do the tournament. It takes about 40 minutes to play 3 quick matches. I guess based on that it's better odds to do the tournaments, as if you do progress you can make the big money.

Best way to make money is in the higher division tournaments, especially division 1 and 2. Since there are a lot less players in these divisions, the tournaments are very empty, like less than 16 players. So if you join one of these (even like 30 minutes after qualifying started) you're guaranteed to go to the next round.

In division 2 tournaments for example, making it to the first KO round is worth 400,000.


Yesterday I earned promotion to division 1 for the first time ever. I played two tournaments yesterday, the first had 4 people and the second had 3 people. So I played maybe 4 or 5 qualifying games and then I'm in the semi final automatically. I won the 2nd tournament, so in my first day in division 1 I earned something like 6 million just from 2 tournaments.

Yeah it is pretty screwed up alright. Almost a week since I promoted to division 1, I've probably earned a dozen million or so, mainly from coach mode tournaments. Its ridiculous, today and yesterday I've been joining tournaments with just 1 other person in it. Losing in the final earns 2 million, my entry fee is like 800-900K so I get a guaranteed 1.1 million profit + whatever attendence money from the final / qualifying games. Its stupid because when there are just 2 people in a tournament, you have to wait 65 minutes after qualifying round ends to play the final.

I've never seen the champions league with only 4 teams in the entire tournament in real life......
