Beware....Game Over can Bite

Just a tip to the unwary. I've just completed my 3rd season of Master League and finally got myself promoted. Bought a couple of players in the off season and then a new keeper on the last week before the new season starts. After working out how much I could afford to pay for him I put in my offer and got him. I didn't realise that YOU HAVE TO PAY HIS LAST YEARS WAGES AS WELL. Why????? He wasn't playing for me!!!!
It took me into the red as soon as I clicked on "goto next week" and then it autosaved. BUGGER..........Three seasons wasted. So watch out!!!!


....and does anyone else hate having to train players? I want an assistant.

Yeah thats annoying, but training can help your older players in your squad, so thats a small bonus.

Also, with plenty of training you can really improve younger players. Make Wayne Routledge do the dribble test 20 times and the guy is a genius!

Keep a backup of your ML save before signing anyone, and every 3 or so games, just in case something bad happens.

Yes, training helps improve the players. Do the condition training after each match.

is it doing as much training in one training test in the off season period could improve the players more?
like, doing 20 times (passing each time) dribbling can improve more than doing once?

Yeah, during the off-season you can train for however long you want during those free weeks and the players will improve more and more on certain things, such as shooting, passing and dribbling.

Some players improve alot more quickly then others, Francesc Fabregas does not take long to mature into a top class player.

what i mean was, if i train a player in one category, say, dribbling.
do the player increase more in dribbling, after 20 'ok's in dribbling or same as ONE 'ok' in dribbling?

so u can improve players in master league training without doing matches, do they improve as much as in matches, that must mean that if u buy rossi and 2 good strikers u can keep usin dem and training for rossi and he'll get to be top class

see the player's development curve...
if u play robben as WF, i suggest Sorlin (agentina) or another agentina youngester (20 years old at the start of ML) which i forgot the name...

Only got the game a couple of days ago. Never played any footy games before but I must admit there are some awsome young unsigned players out there and their stats rise well quick

yeh tell me about it, me and my cousin were playing the master liga together and we manage to scrape in to the 2nd play off position in the 1st season with Bayern Munich, and we won it unconvingly beatin of everton and rangers, so happy bout being in the div1 comp we decided to upgrade a few players we bought Portillo and traded Espinas for Cristiano.....a few weeks later and two wins, a draw and a loss later a friggin gAME OVER came on and we realised that we saved it before the loss game, and there was no way out. so a fuckin season gone in a matter of seconds
