big mistake - players not cup-tied in ML

i cant find a mention of this n e where else so i will say it now.
i dont know if it is to do with licensing or not but i have just found out that when you buy a player he is NOT cup tied. i bought solskjaer and he played for me in div 1 cup. i think it would be more realistic if they were. this is the only flaw i think this game actually has.

Heh...well, players sometimes get called up for country matches...so that's more "realism" if you need it. Um...maybe we don't need to get TOO worked up!

It's a good point but if you'd just spent 15,000 on Shevchenko and then you couldn't play him in a cup match..... that wouldn't be too nice either.

Please try to write an interesting thread title or else the whole forum would be full of stuff like "Interesting!", "oh no", "big bug!", "i am da best" and so on. Cheers.

I'm not 100% sure, but doesn't it work out in real life that when you sign players at a certain time, they are not eligible to play in cups. ala Liverpool not playing Michael Owen in Champs qualifier so he could still play champions league for Real?
Again I'm not too sure how this works, but if it's true, then it's pretty bang on.

And also, lets not complain about peeps posts. I mean what are the forums for?
