Biggest Game Title of the Year?

I'd say HL2, especially once all the variations come out (CS, DoD etc). For consoles, I'll say GTA SA.

Plus they've only recently made a CS game on it's own called condition zero which people are modding to play online, I don't think there will be a HL2 CS

Plus Counter strike source will come with half-life 2 for free. Its basically updated graphics but with the source engine physics and all.

Hm.With all the respect I don't understand what's all the fuss about GTA:SA.I played a bit of GTA:Vice City and I got easily tired of it..It wasn't defying for me...whereas MGS2 was a hell lot defying.But yeah, most people enjoy playing GTA so it's probably going to be one of the biggest games to be released.
But I'll definitely enjoy best, for example, to play MGS3:Snake Eater (sounds promising), PES4 and GT4. PES4 and GT4 are games which are different every time you play it, since you can play with different human opponents, whereas GTA isn't that defying...It's my opinion but GTA:SA will probably be the biggest release, lots of people like the god damn game..

For me, WE8 will be the biggest release.

For most of the gaming audience, GTA:SA or Halo 2.

Downloaded the newest clips I could find of Halo 2 and Half Life 2. Halo 2 looks same old same old, and as I didn't think the first one was particularly good this ain't shaping up. Whereas HalfLife 2 looks groundbreaking definately moving up to another level, to think in a couple of years the next gen consoles will be better than that is amazing

It'll be GTA:SA for sure. It's pretty much guaranteed to be the years top seller due to the success of the last two titles.

I kinda meant the sales or whatever of CS, HL2 and my own favourite, DoD, maybe even Natural Selection, which I assume will all have updates based on the HL2 engine.

well.. they are playing on bringing out Counter-Strike Source.. which will be CS on the HL2 engine.. and from what i have heard.. it will not be that difficult (for a mod maker) to transfer their mod to the HL2 engine.. so in all likely hood we will see the classic HL mods on the HL2 engine..
