Black Ops 2

Pretty awesome, I really like the iron sight on it. I use to play black ops 1 with a headset but black ops 2, as you said, you can't hear footsteps. I don't think they're planning on patching it in either as it's suppose to combat campers :/!

No I dont have Whatsapp. I'll be on and off till United play and then will probably be on later on tonight.
So what's the point of SitRep? Doubling the sound of non existant footsteps to 2x non existant?

Still need a headset for chat, plus it sounds better and it helps to have a decent pair for S&D so you can hear them defusing ;)

I too will be on between the Ars/Spurs and United games, and deffo on tonight.

BELIEVE
I'm heading out to buy Black Ops 2 soon, from my local Tesco hopefully if they have it stocked since I noticed the deal ends today (£25 for the game, when bought with a 2100 Microsoft Points card for the Xbox 360 for example - of which usually costs about £16 on it's own).

I was initially prepared to wait until Christmas, but given that it's the final day of the offer, there's no real point in delaying the purchase. So I'll just switch my ideas around, and instead, ask Santa for WWE '13, and buy Black Ops 2 myself.

Anyway, I thought the wise thing to do, would be to ring up my local Tesco just to check their stock levels. After pressing the number 1 button on my phone during the automated voice service, to enquire about items in stock, an automated message was immediately relayed stating; "Due to the high levels of demand, we are unable to provide specific information in relation to Call of Duty Black Ops 2". So it looks like I'll be heading down to the store in person to check, but if that fails, I'll simply order off of Tesco's website, as I don't mind waiting a few days - especially given that I was initially prepared to wait up until Christmas. It now feels like a bonus!

BELIEVE
It can be 2100MSP or 12 month XBL sub.

Sticks n Stones is quakity

I've fortunately got Xbox Live up until about May 2014. When Microsoft had an offer on for 1 month XBL for £1, there was a glitch in the system, and you could simply continue paying the sum over and over again in exchange for an additional month. I did this probably early 2011 sometime, and got 3 years worth of XBL for the price of 1 year.

Anyway, I headed into my local Tesco, and the offer for Black Ops had expired. It was quite unfortunate as they were selling a few copies of the game that actually included Nuketown 2025 as well. That would have been so ideal, to receive the offer, as well as the bonus pre-order map.

I've managed to order it though via Tesco Direct, where the deal is still active until the end of today I believe. It is somewhat inconvenient however, as the game will be delivered, however I must collect the 2100 points instore. I might be able to use this inconvenience as leverage though, and if my game arrives, and it is without the bonus Nuketown map, I'll just take it to my local Tesco in the hope of swapping it whilst I'm picking up my 2100 points from the order anyway.

Sums this game up perfectly.

Pointless playing it anymore until it's fixed (if ever it gets fixed).

I found switching to 'best' made the game better but it still wasnt perfect. Went 14-0 on one map just running around sniping  At one point someone jumped out of a door way at me and I panicked and no scoped him  I bet he was pissed.

I then followed that up with a dreadful score lol.

Switching it to "best" doesn't make any difference. Lag compensation will still make the game unplayable for players with a decent internet connection, such as myself.

But Gayarch are too busy focusing on the important issues, such as what playlist to put Nuketown 2025 in

Works better for me with my shit internet connection..I lag alot less, I'm lucky If I get 3 meg connection let alone the 8 meg I pay for (8 being the fastest I can get in my area )

edit:

Btw I meant I felt I lagged less, the lag compensation still sucks even when you've got a shit connection like me.

Lag compensation still works better for those with shit internet; just imagine how bad it is for players like me on 50meg with a decent ping. Virtually unplayable! I have to focus like a motherfucker to get myself kills, but sometimes I'm having to shoot at people before I see them. Hardly a formula for success.

A mate has convinced me to jump on tonight, probably a bit of S&D again. Feel free to join us, but be warned that I will usually try survive until the end and then dolphin dive into the water!

Two of us killed the rest of the enemy team, went to defuse (on Hijacked) but then ran and dived into the water, giving them the win  Our team was NOT happy!

Good lord, what I'd do for a 50 meg connection....

I'm playing upstairs on wireless, so it's at about 30meg, 15-25 ping, but the lag comp is killing me.

We may still be on; I was on until 2:30 Sunday night. It really depends when Chuffer is on until, depending on his shift the next day.

Two of our teammates were really pissed at us; the next two rounds we did the same (waited until one of us was the last alive, shot our gun in the air and dolphin dived into the water). They were on the other team next game, so we semi-tried and won

IGN said:
Activision has caused quite a stir by removing the Nuketown 2025 bonus map from multiplayer rotations in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The multiplayer map, which was included as a pre-order bonus as well as in the Hardened and Care Package special editions of the game is now only regularly accessible in custom games and in one moshpit playlist following the end of the double XP weekend to celebrate the game's launch.

Treyarch game design director David Vonderhaar took to his Twitter to announce the news, saying, "Double XP weekend is official over. That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don't kill the messenger."

Many assumed that access to the map would be permanent for those who bought the game in the appropriate manner, but it seems this isn't the case. This decision meant that the map would only remain playable if you started a custom game with your mates, while playing it in another multiplayer mode required waiting for certain one-off events.

"Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 will be back for special events," Vonderharr clarified. "You can always play it with your friends in Custom Games."

What was the point in pre-ordering the game? I got to rent a map for a week..Nice.

It pissed a lot of people off. Not sure why, as I don't think people who bought the normal copy paid any extra for the bonus? The only added it into a moshpit playlist after everyone moaned. I can see it as purposely causing a diversion from the real areas of concerning like lag compensation and hit detection.

So how good/bad is this game?

I have purchased it for £34 on eBay (brand new).

How does it compare to MW3 (which I hated) and Black Ops?

I don't think anyone liked MW3? Did they? I found Black Ops too spongey.

If you have a decent internet connection? If so, you're gonna have a bad time.
