Black screen when using Fernandos patch

Hi, When I run my retail version of WE9 it runs just fine. But when I apply fernandos language patch, nothing happens and the screen just turns black. And I have followed the guide, and I have applied the patch with ppf-o-matic.(I think I have done everyting correctly)


If Anyone else that has experienced this problem and knows how to fix it, I would appreciete it big time if you could help me out. 'Cause I really wanna play this great game in english!

btw, I am using Swap magic 3.6

EDIT: The DVD-media I have tried is Verbatim and Philips DVD-R.

Can't tell for sure what is the problem. Are you sure you followed the guide correctly? Delete the image and rip another one from your original and try again.

Otherwise, maybe your PS2 prefers DVD+R. Or a swap magic problem (I don't use that so can't help there).

Now I have tried the second version and that runs fine too. I have absolutly no clue why the new version isnt working.
