Currently in Season 4 and in a 5 way fight (yes Konami likes keeping things close, all teams are within 4 points with 3 matches left) with Chelsea, ManU, ManCity, Liverpool for the Prem title.

So eventhough the season is going well, there are still really rubbish teams that have my number. This season it is fricking West Brom.
They knocked me out of the FA Cup and drew our two league matches :blush: This is a team with one starter in the 80s, 2 above 75 and the rest are 74 or worse, yet I just couldn't get past the feckers!

Sure I can beat Liverpool three consecutive weeks (league and Europa league) but this pokey little team from the Midlands is too good for me!

Anyone else run up against annoying sides like that?

This happens in RL too, I remember Man Utd getting beat off Bolton the season they got promoted into the Prem home and away. For me this season Portsmouth had my number beating me 3-0 at there ground and 1-0 at mine, still in contention for the league in the final of the FA cup and in the Semis of the champions league. But little old Portsmouth defended against my world beaters well and came away with 6 points over the 2 games even though they are still fighting relegation.

I always think of it as "It's their cup final, and sometimes they are more up for it than we are"

i got beat up 0-2 by west ham at my home stadium .....my first lost of the season....:realmad: but i manage to win 4-0 at old trafford....:laugh:

I have a bad thing against Manchester City in the FA Cup. I have never won the FA Cup in my 2 seasons in charge of Liverpool, and have lost to Manchester City both times.

Yes it happens to me all the times.. usually to teams who have just been promoted. If i play them in the first few games of the new season i usually draw a blank

Birmingham, My arsenal defense can never deal with Zigic. I always beat them when he doesn't play, but when he does... it's like he does to arsenal in real life :(

The season after the last time we got promoted (ie 2001/2002 season), we beat Utd at OT and lost to them at home. We beat them again at OT the next season.

They had a f'n awesome team with Romario, C.Ronaldo and Bergkamp as strikers...first time in PES history I got such a whooping

It was always olympiakos on last gen pes until I beat them 7-1 and the curse was lifted, I tend to play a lot of Serie A using Inter or SS Lazio and Parma away is always a tough one, they have some strong players and tend to do well in my offline ML usually finishing 7th/8th.
