It is happening again
How much effect do the attributes they have actually have on a player? Say, if a boot has a 3 rating in acceleration, how much would the acceleration improve on that player?
It's not a huge deal, I only discovered them the other week whilst creating my BAL player, just curious.

I haven't noticed any changes in my players stats on my BAL mode. My players pace is so low its unreal haha! I've tried using the pink boots (I think they are the ones with top pace/speed, at full) and it hasn't changed my players attributes in half a year. GG yesterday Ali.

I think the pink ones are for acceleration, not speed. Not 100% sure on that though. I don't think it just effects BAL players, but regular players too. It might add a "hidden value" to the attribute in question. You see, in the game Lee Chung Yong wears those pink boots you talk of, which he never wears in real life, but i don't want to take them off in case they have a dramatic effect on his attributes. Hmmm, Konami have a habit of putting stuff in games, and not explaining well... like dynamic player development.
Yes, good games yesterday... I've calmed down a bit after the frustrations :p Will save my rant for another day!

it's just another load of BS that added to the game last year (or was it the year before?)

Nike/Puma/Adidas get their boots in the game in a visible manner, and Konami get what is essentially advertisement revenue from these companies.

It has nothing to do with improving the game or making it more in depth, it's completely a money matter.

I don't mind having licensed stuff, used to love the adidas 3 stripe template you could have for making kits, which has gone now though, though you can recreate it with 2 different parts.
I just think it's silly giving the boots' attributes, and not explaining what they actually do.
