Bored of All-Star teams in ML?

Personally after winning ML several times with the likes of Carlos, ZZ, Buffon, Almeyda, Shev, Ronaldo etc.. there seems little left to do. So I've now started playing the ML from scratch on 5* with Auto (anti cheat) save on and building the current Spurs team.

I find it much more enjoyable that your players are a bit slow at times, and the goals can be a bit scrappy but it makes for a lot of fun after being used to the superstar players that everyone goes for in the ML!

I'm now in my 3rd season and still in division two. Missed promotion in the last game if the play-offs once and have just been dropped from 2nd to 3rd in the last game of the second season so missing out on the play-offs. It's f**kinf frustrating but you certainly get passionate about your team 'cos they're your real life supported team!

Anyone else agree that this makes for good fun!?

I feel what you are saying about playing with a shit team...It's far more enjoyable. I made Middlesbrough just for the normal master league and I wasn't generous with their stats, and I recently updated them to make them all crappier. It's a lot more fun (and realistic) when you get completely hammered by a class team, and yeah it makes you a lot more passionate about playing when you have a personal vested interest in the outcome. I had loads of points and didn't buy any star players for the same reason, and when people were willing to buy my best performing players I wouldn't sell them coz it would of spoilt the 'reality' of it...I had a hard time not selling a few players though...no names mentioned ;)
