Why would they take it away? I really cant respect the desicion to take them out, it's a much better system than just an average number. I think so...

i asked the same thing myself :( they give us priceless info like what is the stronger foot then they take that away. sigh

hexagon graph tells us more useful things than just a number. if you look at mario gomez's "number", it tells you he's a horrible player. but if you look at his hexagon graph in PES 2009, he a great player. the hexagon also tells us whether a SM is better at crossing or better at running. overall stat doesn't tell us anything...

heh nicely said Tech. Once i get used to it i'll look forward and never look back. I just liked being a lazy bastard and was used to the old hexagon

I didn't use the hexagon... I always look at the stats...

But the decision to put an average or whatever that is.... COME ON!!!

This isn't FIFA!!!

I think i will find it hard to get used to, or i'll pay more attention to the stats rather than the overall. It really is a day of mourning for me today.

You are all stupid. Sorry.

What that number means is not their average but how good they are in that position. You could have someone absolutely rubbish but have a 90 number on the left because they are good there. So I agree the Hexagon is very good and simple which Fifa didn't have - that means its great!

I don't see what the big deal is personally. I probably used it on previous games and didn't even notice it not being in this one, but it isn't much of a problem it not being there. I've played a lot of manager games like Championship Manager, now Football Manager and that has number stats. If any thing they're more informative and tell you in more detail a players real strengths and weaknesses.

As the above post states, the average number on the lineup will change according to whether a player is suited to the position you want to play him in. The more adaptable the player, the higher number he'll have in a range of positions. The more specialised a player is at his natural position, the lower it'll drop if you take him out of his comfort zone.

Hmmm thing about football manager and championship manager is their stats are more detailed and in fm u can get a hexagon if u wish.. anyway its a big deal to alot of people because this is pes and that wa sone of its thigs that made it better, you could see where certain players excelled, in fairness we all know how good the big players are and most of the ones in the league we follow, its those guys say at helsinki or something, one could be a good passer or pacey and you could see that easily without the hassle of flicking through stats....

Now that I've played more, the menus don't feel right....

It's not very intuitive to navigate the menus while looking at the stat pages...

yes, why have they got rid of the hexagon (pentagon, surely?)
i cant even be bothered to play around with tactics and subs in the demo as i prefered the old style. change for the sake of change does my head in.

sort it out konami.

They should bring it back so there is a whole list of all their stats in 1 page when you press RB and they should make each stat stand out better by using a white background.

C'mon guys, surely you're just being lazy and stuck in your ways? Would it really kill you to flick through the stats? Once you get used to it, it'll be second nature.

aye its as pointless as lowering the number when you play them out of position. does it actually effect gameplay coz as far as i can tell there passing, speed and dribbling ect all remain the same, the overall number just goes down. the hexagons were 10Xs better for quick reference and comparison, then if you saw something you liked you could delve deeper into their stats. now your gonna see a 50 in ML and immediatley overlook the player

Must admit I felt lost without the pentagon (has 5 points) when comes to subbing or arranging a formation. I don't really get the numbers that appear when selecting a player, can someone let me know exactly how it works please?

The overall stat works better in fifa coz they have numerous stats for each player, but on pro we know every stat how it works coz are the same like 6+ years now and the hexagon works better!

It doesnt make any differance I dont think? After playing the game for a while you know what near enough every player is like and dont even need to looik at stats to see how good a shooter, passer, corner taker, freekick taker or how fast or good a dribbler someone is generally it is just like their real life players which you already know what they'll be like.
