Burnout 3

Here's a first look at the new Burnout. Criterion have teamed up with Electronic Arts...

Looking mighty fine.

Electronic Arts has officially confirmed Burnout 3 revealing that, as previously reported (see here), the game will only be playable online on PS2. It's been well documented that EA and Microsoft are working hard to come to an agreement over online support, but it appears Criterion's hugely anticipated sequel will make its online debut on PS2 alone.
Anyway, Burnout 3 is due to skid onto PS2 and Xbox in September this year, Criterion not surprisingly building on the brilliant series' trademark, hi-octane arcade racing experience and spectacular crashes.

If it's out on Gamecube, I'll get it on that.

I've sworn not to buy any more PS2 games unless they are part of the Pro Evo, Gran Turismo or Grand Theft Auto series' of games.

what about mgs... :D

i think im gonna do the same as the graphics are realy shite on the ps2 comparing it to gamecube, x-box and pc... e.g ea games!! (most ea games are on all platforms)

what type of cars do you see that drive in the wrong lane and get a turbo from it?? :p
Its not real, its only a game ;)

Personally, I'm not really that much of a fan of MGS.

Possibly because I didn't play the first one. Sons of Liberty was my first introduction to the series, and it felt more like a movie than a game. So. Many. Cutscenes.

If I hear Snake Eater has cut down on these, then I'll consider it. Twin Snakes on Gamecube as well should be quite good as it seems not to have too many - so I might pick that up.

I have Burnout 2 and it is a good game, as was the original Burnout. The only problem i have with this series is that you can only really play them for 2 or 3 weeks before they begin to get boring. Its very fun to start, but it doesnt offer up anything new after a short while, it doesnt take long before all the crashes look the same. I hope they increase the longevity of Burnout 3.

Yeah it looks quality, the crashes are fantastic.

I'll probably buy it like, I thought the previous Burnout's were class

What about Project Gotham Racing 2 for the xbox???

That has real cars like Ferrari's, Porsche's, Dodge Viper's etc!!!
And you can smash them all up!!!!!!!

But you dont really go out smashish the cars up on purpose do you, and the damage isnt that bad, come on if burnout started using ferraris and smashing them up it would be called "Footballer Hit & Run" And you would be able to unlock drivers like Kieron Dyer, Ian Wright and Gazza!
