buying players in master league!?

i just past the first transfer window in my masterleague and i found it hard to by the players i wanted. i got ribery and another defender but other players were impossible to get, ie pennant or nani. do i have to offer over the odds to get them??

If u managed to sign ribery then u should just do the same thing again although some players wont come to your club if they have a high popularity rating and your club doesnt. PS why did u try and sign Jermaine Pennant?

I play as Liverpool on my ML and i start off with the match mode players. The first oppurtunity i had to sell him, he was gone like the wind. I put him up for a possible transfer and REAL MADRID of all clubs came nockin and they swapped me Gonzalo Higuain for Jermain Pennant.

The rest was history.....

The thread went a bit off topic there - nice.

I think the best way to buy the players you want is to start with a top team, then it's easier to trade. But if you start with the default ML team, it's best to buy "unbelonging" players and "rookies" during the first transfer window, then as you develop them during the remainder of the season, use them to get players you really want.
