My xbox is putting big circular scratch marks on my discs so I'm going to have to change it.

I bought it from Argos & got the 3 year extended warrenty so I will get another one straight away it just means I lose all of my game save data including my legend who is just starting his 5th season :realmad:

Has this problem with the scratching discs happened to anyone else?

It does happen with the older machines, you could alternativly wait till the 19th when the new dashboard update comes out and install PES on your hard drive.

I'm not sure if my disc will make it that long it is really badly scratched now & keeps coming up with the clean the disc error. Everytime I play a game I'm hoping it makes it to the end lol.

Is it a free update? how does it work saving it to hdd, does it mean you no longer need the disc?

After reading a bit of info on the dashboard update I think I will still get my Xbox replaced as it isn't going to cost me anything & I only have a 20GB HDD at the mo so I won't be able to save all games to it. I'm gonna try to get Argos to replace me pes disc (this is probably unlikely) if they won't I will just get it cleaned at Blockbusters (I hope I get advertising rights for the name dropping)

At least after the update I won't have this problem again as the disc won't actually spin, although it will need to be left in the console during play.

I am very worried that I will lose my PES2009 data (more pissed about the edit data rather than the ML or BAL data) as my PS3 isn't reading any disks (game, DVD or CD).
