It's good offline, but the campaign is on the short side tbh, online is where the fun is.

Not online yet tbh, its been put on the backburner cos i'm moving in a couple of months. But yeah I do like shooters, I think the fact that it's modern day appeals to me. Right then I'll get it bought :naughty:

Definitely worth the buy. Even though the story mode is quite short, it's still very enjoyable. And online is the shit. Adds so many hours onto the game. Online challenges, etc.

And yeah I'm up for some games. We should start a clan.

Personally I find the M16 very frustrating to use. Much prefer the MP5 with the Red Dot Sight, just lay into people.

I mostly use the shotgun, CP90 or M4 with scope. On level 55 because I can't be arsed swapping to Prestige.

When you get to level 55 you have the option of "starting again".

You'll go back to level 1 and have to do it again, but get a fancy symbol next to your name. Keep on doing this and the symbol changes each time you get past 55.

Just shows how nerdy you are at it.

Oh, and please could someone explain the challenge "get a spree of 2 with bullets when in mid-air"? I've tried it whilst jumping off an edge and it never worked?

Perhaps if you're on 1 kill then kill 2 more people while in mid-air resulting in a spree?

I've found a way to do this!!

On Bloc, you go to the stairwell near B on S&D I think. The top of the stairwell has some wood and stuff there. Jump on the wood and the game thinks that you are in mid air. just wait for someone to run round the corner and kill them or use a sniper rifle to pick a few people off.

The only negative thing I can say about the game is that the story mode is too short. Other than that, everything is absolutely spot on.

The story mode has always been fairly short from what i can remember with CoD 3 and so on. I have heard big things about the online multiplayer functions, is it that good?

Personally I think the online is exceptional and I've only played Team Deathmatch so I'm just touching the tip of the iceberg. A must buy.

And Charlie, I hate it. With a passion. You can't avoid it either most of the time.

The sniping campers aren't that bad, as you can always track them down after they kill you and shotgun them in the back of the head.

The random grenade throwers though...worst than terrorists. Whenever I die from a grenade I always mumble "please not a random grenade, please not a random grenade". It usually follows with "you flukey piece of shit!"

I was slaughtered many-a-time tonight with a random grenades punk, so I took a personal vendetta on the man/boy/virgin who kept doing it.

as much as i enjoy this game im still drawn back towards resistance fall of man. the release of resistance 2 is got me excited with the 60 player online games.( cod4 =16 players ) and the 2 COUNT EM 2 campaign modes and 6 viechles online 3 of which can fly. oh yh and the 8 player co op mode
