My highest kill streak I have to say is 19, which to be honest I'm still content with. Even if I did get over 25, it'd mean nothing to me as I'm yet to unlock the Tactical Nuke as a killstreak weapon.

So what's everybody's favourite maps then now we've all had enough time to sit down with the game?

Personally, I love "Favela". Just the whole shanty town vibe and colourful signs is very pleasing on the eye. I'll be honest though, I'm so inconsistent on the map it's ridiculous, more so bad these last few days unfortunately. Still, a fucking great map.

Another I really love is "Afghan" but this time I thankfully do well on this nearly all the time. Just the whole desert effect, the cave being a nice choke point with rocks everywhere and what appears to be an opium field at the back is a cracking touch.

"Terminal" I'm sure everyone enjoys, probably the first time I've played a multi-player shooter in an airport. It also helps that the map is excellent too with plenty of fighting points. The theme definitely fits the Modern Warfare title and it's probably one of the more memorable maps on the game.

Afghan is quality, always tend to get 20+ kill streaks on that level. Best score was something like 66 for 7 :)

They really need to get rid of the Thermal Sniper Scopes - it's just way, way, WAY too easy with them. I stole someone's gun and was just sniping for fun, it's easier than a UAV.

I think the thermal scope is countered with the lack of good sniper maps. Skidrow and Wasteland (and to a lesser extent Sub Base and Derail) are where the thermal scope stands out.

But maps like Favela make you look like a right numpty even trying to snipe as you will inevitably be knifed in the head.

It would have been a laugh to use the thermal scope on Bloc though.

Acht, my connction is pure pish still, when I watch a killcam its ridiculous. Thats pretty much why I spend the vast majority of my time trying to outflank the other team with little to no real effect and when I do end up one on one I'm usually prancing about like a crazed gorilla.

I can't believe I had two nuke chances ruined tonight by pes folk.

The first one was just dire, I was on a 19 kill streak having only used my harrier, only to find that the airspace is too crowded for my chopper gunner. I somehow outfox someone into running around me so I could knife them, only to die right after.

The chopper gunner then killed 10. I ended the game with something like 29 kills and 1 death.

Woe.

In saying that though, I have gotten 29, 27 and 19 kills in the last 3 games for something like 8 deaths.

Ugggggh. I'm getting serious blueballs here, I just want to evaporate my foes :'[

Played a 1 vs 1 vage match with some dude last night. It was pretty good, good fun.

I won of course.

What's everyone's accuracy on this? Mine is 20.1% or something, is that good or what?

Heard a pretty funny 'fight' on it last night. There were three people on my team just lashing into each other but one guy in particular got really pissed off! The other guy just kept calling him a nigger to which is response was 'shut the fuck up! Im not black! fuck you, Im gonna kill you!' :rolleyes:

I believe mine is something very similar to yours.

Everyone on my friends list (most people from this site) have accuracy under 20%. The only people on my friends list who have over 20% are myself, and Sully (22% or something I think).

Finally got my first nuke today. Pretty straightforward really - killed some folk from the same spot, harrier, chopper gunner, kill a couple more and goodnight Irene.

On the accuracy front, I'm on 22.22% and Original is on 35.17%. Mine has fallen somewhat as I share a few games with my sisters boyfriend and he has a tendency to shoot things he shouldn't. I remember when Orig sent me a message pointing out how close we were on the accuracy front, only to watch me mate empty about 4 magazines into chickens on Rundown...

I also enjoy rolling about with the PP2000, which doesn't do much for accuracy either, It's so much better than the pistols in COD4.

I like Quarry. Mainly because it's one of the places I perform better on. Afghan and Derail on the other hand..
