So pissed off. There was one guy in a game and got like 28 kills and about 8 deaths. Fair enough. Then we played the level with the planes in the middle and he literally used the grenade launcher the whole time and killed me 8 times with it. Absolute cunt. All I could hear constantly was a grenade being launched and a death showing up on the screen. Hate these cunts, whatever you say about campers, at least you can avoid them, these are just fucking annoying! /rant over/

I hate them too. It's such a cheap way to get kills. I don't mind when they use it once in a while, but what pisses me off is when one kills you and you watch the killcam and you see them running with it already set, even though they haven't found anyone yet.

Imo, they are too shit to get kills the old fashioned way.

I've had my breakthrough moment. I played a game yesterday and got 9 kills and only 7 deaths.

I think the penny has dropped a little at last on how not to keep dying.

As I said during the game, on Terminal you were just on a relay... you'd run pick up their flag, bring it back and you literally span on the spot and sprinted back the way you'd just come. 10-0 on Capture the Flag is unheard of I think!

I seemed trigger happy, whether through panic or there was just so damn many of you! Nevertheless, accuracy has gone up slightly..

Thankfully, DelBoy was even shitter than me on that level... despite not being able to hit a barn door from ten paces (not that he was on) my accuracy is nearing my target of 40%. :erm:

Makes a change from Joel always being the unlucky one! Especially when it comes to the random victim of a predator missile. You're usually motionless when I see you (surveying with your sniper), which makes it easier for me to get a quick headshot. I spray an awful lot when I have to catch people running.

So true. There was one round where he ended with just 1 death! On CoD 4 that seemed an easier feat for me, but now I rarely get under 5. Maybe it's that I don't use UAV jammer (or rather, the MW2 equivalent). I could take out a group of you, narrowly surviving. Then up pops Fab from the back to finish me off. Seemed like a common occurance. :lol:

The best thing was that I didn't even see you coming. I was about to sprint out of the bushes, only for my crosshair to start moving slightly to the left, then I seen your name pop up, so out out came and stabbed you in the arm it would seem.

I did manage to get on a team deathmatch though. My sub-dial up standard connection made it a memorable affair, I was still able to kill someone as they were picking up a care package, only to kill the same bloke again with his own predator missile. This is all extrapolated from the 8 or so frames of action I got from the entirety of the game, for all I know I might have spun on the spot 8 times before throwing some semtex on myself.

Dear lord, that game 2 nights ago on Sub base when I was on the other team and I had no idea how to play it. I ended up killing 3 people including Div, bumping your flag, no ammo or time to reload, a fucking Stinger as my secondary and returned it to my base only for it to say "Please Wait" because that bastard Delboy had bumped our flag. I tried it again but only got halfway and decided to never again try stealing the flag.

Tonights game on Domination in Invasion was pretty close too, I think we bumped the flag with seconds to spare and won by a very narrow margin. I spent most of it camping about with a supressor stopping them from stealing one of ours and Andy and Joel ran a riot.

Ground War is just impossible to get any sort of rhythm going. Particularly the more compact maps like Scrapyard and Terminal. Doesn't help when the connection makes people lag around like Samara in The Ring.
