What does everyone prefer, Claymore or Semtex?

I'm using Claymore's at the moment, doubled with the perk Scavenger. This means that I can get two claymores on the go, so extra protection if i'm holed up in a building.

I killed Guillermo with a Claymore on Afghan I think :lol: You sprinted into the cave, just after the AC130 had gone round, only for my claymore to explode when you ran past it :lol:

I recently switched back to semtex from claymores, though I expect to swap back again.

Unfortunately, I can't upgrade my internet... my line is just rubbish and I can't get cable.

C4 is the dogs bogs when it works. The downside with grenades and semtex is that everyone knows what's happening - with C4, even if they see you throw it, more often than not they wont have a clue about it and will be rather perplexed at their demise.

The first few PES games I used it on was glorious, I had to make the most of it before folk cottoned on that I was the cunt, but until that point it was pretty hilarious.

It's probably one of the more satisfying ways to kill people in this game.

Got my favourite ever kill earlier. Was playing Favela (best level) and I was running round the rooftops and saw some dude in a window a floor below me, so i jumped off the building, killed him in mid-air and landed in the room he was in. Jason Bourne style! :D

Played a couple of games of Demolition tonight and really loved it, complete madness at both bombsites and flashbangs, grenades and shots flying everywhere plus some very good XP available.

I really enjoyed Headquarters in WaW but had found the new one was always far too one sided in favour of one team so hopefully Demolition can be the fix.

What's the objective on Demolition? I've never played it before. I noticed you mentioned bombsites, so is it anything like Search & Destroy?

There are two bombsites, both of which much be detonated by one team and defended by the other. It seems heavily stacked in favour of the defending team.

I had some fella jump off a roof in Karachi, and shotgun him in the face just before his feet hit the ground, was pure sex.

Got 57 for 3 on Demolition earlier. Don't think it beats my 60 for 5 on CoD4, as on that you can only really call in Airstrikes and Helis, but it was pretty funny. A shame it ended when it did, as I was about to call in an attack helicopter too :p

well ive had this game 1 week and a day and it seems im getting worse by the day, im level 39 and im easy getting killed by players lower than me which is really pissing me off. Ive only have good moments today i had 1 good game where i was like 21 kills to 11 deaths 9 is still my streak

You have to mix up your classes and see what works for you. You also have to change your game to suit the map.

Got my internet back today and resumed by being-a-cunt style of play. Apologies to Miggy as that shotgun does most of the work for me, not to say that it wasn't enjoyable doing laps of the map, taking out foes wherever they appeared.

Right now I have 2 classes that I'm pretty handy with, my sniper class (which is boring as fuck) and my run and gun class which is just all sorts of fantastic, despite being limited to just Terminal and Favela.

I really should drop the nuke killstreak and plop in the predator, I'd pick up so many more kills as a result of getting to the harrier quicker. I just know that the game after I change it I'll get a 30 odd killstreak.

Still loving this game <3

I'm giving up using Assault Rifles. SMG seems suit the best for me. Last night, I killed 4 guys in a quick succession. 3 with the knife, and 1 with the SMG.

I'm blowing hot & cold. Sometimes I'm pretty good, making it to the top 3 scores, sometimes, I'm really bad. I had 1 kill and 12 death on a map that I've never played before.

I don't think writing TEC in your clan tag will have any effect... :erm:

I gave the Intervention another go earlier, it's actually a very satisfying rifle to use... got me to the 40% mark on my accuracy as well, aiming for 50% next! Might be difficult though.

If you think 1 kill and 12 deaths is really bad then you've obviously never played with Sweey or Nifty. They are the new Joels :joel:

The whole point of the clan tag is that it puts you and your clan together, Original? well it did on CoD4 anyway.

I'm selling mine today. They need a form of scaled online system if there isn't already one where shit players can be shit together as I've not been learning anything by having my arse kicked.

There's plenty of new games out next year anyway and an essay due in March so I'll have enough other things to keep me occupied.
