You edit the formations A and B and assign them to strategy buttons.
Then during the match you can select the strategy and your team will change to the new formation during play to give you an advantage over your unsuspecting opponent.

Zyg, assuming that my original formation is 4-3-3. Under Formation A, I set as 5-4-1 and Formation B 5-3-2. During the game, having scored a goal, I decided to change to 5-4-1 by chosing Formation A. My question is how do I know that the formation has been changed. When I tried to substitute some player to accomodate the new formation, I noticed that the formation still read as 4-3-3. I could not detect the formation has been changed to 5-4-1.
Appreciate a comment

I've forgot the buttons because I haven't played the game for a while, but it definitely works. It's one of the shoulder buttons combined with x/o etc (depending on which button you assign to which formation).

Good questions...would love to know what the buttons are to change and to see if the formation has changed or not? Appreciate the help!
