Guys, I am currently trying to download the Ole gangasta patch for WE 8 LE, but i have a real shitty connection at home and it would take forever (at least 2 days!) but at work i can download the files in like 15mins!!! i've already downloaded a few at work but my problem is getting those files from work to home (work PC doesn't have a CD or DVD writer!), they obviously won't fit on a standard disk because they are to big (already tried!), is there another way that doesn't involve buying anything to expensive?? I have a max drive, could that work???? cheers guys

Hi.
The Max drive can't store the patch as the patch is too big.

You could get a larger USB storage drive or a portable CD-writer.
Check out the options over at
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...langId=-1&searchTerms=usb+drive&go.x=0&go.y=0

If you get the Freecom External Classic USB DVDRW Drive you could patch and burn at work. Or use it to burn the patch to take home.

Or get the "Belkin USB 2.0 Flash Drive 512Mb - Password Protected"

Quite pricey I guess but that's what I would go for. Unless you want to RAR up the patch yourself and send it to yourself in small pieces?

Good luck.

This is what I'd do mate, if you have a friend who has a better connection than you and a cd writer. Email him or her the files, then ask them to put them on cdr for you for you. This is the easiest and cheapest way I think for your problem. Or blagg your boss for a cd writer for important work stuff ;)
