Hello, first post.'Fraid I'm probably gonna sound like a newb but here goes :rolleyes:
Iwant to take advantage of the option file downloads on this site as well as patches. As with other sites of similar WE8/PES4 description, they all mention x-port and max drive to use with PS2. I have a PS2 Japanese version, living in Japan. I need to know if the US version would work with it as it isn't available here.
Here's hoping for a nice response :D Please don't flame me or anything if I'm in the wrong section. I promise not to do it again. ;)

Wish I could chip it. Unfortunately it(chipping) seems to be illegal here (bit of a grey area) and the only place I know does it, is charging more than the price of a new one!
Will any other USB memory PS2 peripheral work instead?

Update - Nov 4th - did a bit of shopping today and found max drive hidden away in the corner of the store, and promptly bought it! Thanks anyway. It is licensed to Cyber Gadget in Japan if anybody needs to know and isn't under the Datel name. Thank you anyway, problem solved! :D
