Can my mate in the usa play me in the UK?

Hi,

My friend plays PES6 using a swap disc and selecting ntsc on the game.

We did a network test on the game and it worked fine.

We then tried to go online with the game and it came up with:

DNAS error (-402)
PS2 disc infomation has occured.

I have no idea what this means.

I am thinking import a uk ps2 and then getting a us power adaptor to power it.

Is there a simpler option to get him online?

i think that because you are playing a copied version of the game, the online mode will not work. Try using an original copy, and see if it works

No its an orignal game, swap disk is used to overcome his usa ps2 not playing the uk game.

Swap disc is not a problem. Maybe the ps2 is modded.The tv also is not a problem.
But you must give us all the information. He lives in the usa and he wants to get online with a pal pes6?I also dont know if we can play with the usa from europe.Does konami support that?

We can't play people online from another region remember.

And about that DNAS error, if you create a copy of that disc and patch the DNAS code to a PAL territory code, then you might be able to get online from another territory (such as the USA).

DNAS can also detect modchips so that might be the underlying problem here.

the game works fine but when getting online it comes up with an error message:

I'm not the one who claimed that it's possible to play a UK original PES6 DVD online with a US PS2. :no:
