i am having trouble with my defence as i keep losing a lot of goals from crosses and corners. i have tried 4-4 and 5-5 and even 6-4 formations but still loose a lot of goals on the wings from crosses. i have all best defenders like nesta and carlos but there are still to many goals going past me. i will loose matches 3 nil with all the goals from crosses. i have put the whole team on auto defend but to no avail. can some one help

Don't be frightened to block crosses outside the box using circle. Then hammer square to head away...

When a cross comes in, I usually press X to head the ball away. It seems more effective than pressing square of circle, even if it doesn't clear the ball as far.

Also try man-marking, it'll limit the amount of space their attackers get in the box when a cross comes in.
