Can one sustain a team with a huge amount of salary?

From my experience in 2010, master league was fun but i ultimately stopped due to the fact that u could not sustain a team full of stars. Each individual would have a salary of up to 10 mil and my annual team salary would reach 130 mil +.

My concern is that the money generated from the sponsorships and cup winnings does not cover the expenses generated by the players salaries. Coupled by staff expenses, it is almost impossible to cover the cost of a whole season. I often see myself ending up with a deficit every year, keeping in mind that one year i would end up with zero funds and will need to release my best players.

Starting out my ML in pes 2011, i found out that the sponsorship funds have reduced significantly, not sure if the cup winnings will generate more money. So i am still wondering; is it still possible to sustain a team of stars without ur team being bankrupt?

Yo dude, you just have to find a way to balance your budget. In Pes2010 i had players with £23 mil+ a year salary. One year i ran with over 400 mil wage budget. I would regularly bring through youth and on the fifth year of their contract they would want to jump from 125,000 to 12,000,000. I was like wtf. In 2010, you just had to sell the right amount of players to stay afloat.
In 2011, i have only done 5 seasons on ML and yes, there is less cash kicking about now but wages seem to be down slightly. Maybe this is because there is less super-clone youth and therefore player overall ratings are down(in 2010 i once had 16 players with 100+ overall in the same team. 9 of them defenders for the record. 1 of them 107ovr). So yes, basically, farm the youth and sell to survive.

Hope this helps

For youth players, give them lesser years of contact until they reach their early 20s then give them a five-year contact. By the end of contact with their late 20s and high value, sell them.

Do take note that don't focus only on making profit, I'm currently in my 11th year and most of my favorite players are either grandpa or retired. Some of those who reappear are also hard to sign. So now I have more than 1000m pounds but my teams are filled with players whom I don't actually know. So my advice is to enjoy the market as much as possible than focusing on profit and most importantly, do not skip through the season.
