hi, im new, always loved the pro evo series since ISS pro on ps1 donkeys years ago...all i would like to know is if anyone here knows the complete international team roster for evo 6? i have read the back of the ps2 cover which says theres 64 international teams. im hoping the ivory coast are in there...also does anyone know how this international challenge mode works? ive heard its supposed to be like a proper world cup with qualifying through 8 groups of 8 (4 of those groups with european teams) where 64 teams become 32 for the finals competition. im intrigued. thanks!

same teams as last time, EXCEPT Senegal, Morocco and Venezuela removed, and Ivory Coast are in it yes. also added are Angola, Togo,Ghana and Trinidad&Tobago.

in the international challenge you pick your zone- out of africa, americas, asia and europe. i`m not sure about the others but on the europe qualifications there are 8 groups of four, wid the top 2 of each group going through to the world cup finals, you can pick your squad through all of this.

Teams you may come across are nations such as Bosna&Herzogovina,Estonia,Israel,Panama and Guatemala- tho i doubt they will be licensed, and these teams are not on the normal roster.
So it is yes, like the whole world cup quals + finals
will that do ya?

i hate that why do they have to delete teams. KOnami is not adding new teams theyre just replacing.
i want senegal, china, and the reggae boys; it was so fun to play with jamaica!!! Konami bring them bacK!!!

plus the new teams too dont forget.

Definetly, Im not too fussed about china, but seeing as there is no bundesliga, they should not remove teams- its not like there is an issue with disc space.

I have been trying to find out the complete list of unplayable teams in International challenge, but so far no luck. I'm guessing you have to play this mode over and over again to gradually find out?

i dont know, because you can select even the qualifying groups.

so you can choose which teams go in which groups as you could with the old international cup? thats good...the thing i hated when i played the fifa world cup game was you couldnt see results from the other regions which was crap. can you have multiple players for the international challenge? the last decent football game to boast a really 'solid' competition with qualifying rounds etc was ISS 2 on the PS2..though it was very arcadey and things got worse with ISS 3..but anyway, this mode is the one im looking forward to the most.

the thing which has always seperated any pro evo game from fifa is the simple fact that pro evo just goes on and on, especially with the depth of the master league and that it plays a better game of football. i concur. fifa has tried to get more 'managery' with its latest incarnation, though i must say ive not bought any fifa title since fifa 2003, though i have played them. the last decent fifa title was fifa 98, graphics aside they may aswell give up trying to get on the same level as pro evo in my humble opinion!

i see pro evo is out on the ds aswell...i might have to buy it on that for the road...graphics are obviously not amazing, looks a bit like ISS 98, which is no bad thing. i did love that game so.

I would think it is only 1 player, but i agree the international challenge looks like the best game mode, the aspect im looking forward to most will be selecting my national squads.

i loved isspro98 aswell. traded it in ages ago, been trying to get myself a copy back.
