Hi Everyone....

would someone please tell me if it is possible to buy a cd with the UK Patch (as per Evo-web) on it, so all I need is the that disc, and a chipped PS2/Flip-lid, etc

As from reading all the different threads, its seems a lot of bother in downloading 20+files, making copies, etc.. Surely there must be one website which sells complete versions of the "new" game, so people like me can just pop it into our chipped PS2s and play...

Or is this not the case>?

ahh man...common i wont tell...

so i guess u need a broadband connection to download the all the diff. files and stuff....then u to chipp the ps2...

mate i'm gonna wait till Pes3, hopefully Konami would have seen the quality of these patches and implemented this into their new game...I hope they do, cos the've made a mint off these games and to not purchase suffient licences is criminal, regardless of supposed quality.

So i guess i better start reading all the threads on patching then...

I may wait till WE7 comes out and one of u smart dudes makes a cool pacth rather than get we6:fe....

p.s. anybody who could make me a copy of their WE: Eng Revo would be hansomely rewarded, for their efforts....

Konami can be a bit cheap when it comes to licences and kits etc so don't expect too much in the new games in those respects.

Whatever Konami earn from the game, it is no way as much as what fifa makes so they are really the 'minted' ones.

Do you have a chipped PS2 or are you thinking of getting it done?

thinking of getting that flip top lid, but only if i can source a copy of the eng revolution game first, as that would be the only reason for me to get one....

dont suppose u know a man who can do you...

do you have a patched version? does it work without bugs, etc..

dont get me wrong I know my computers, but probably not to the extent that you guys do, in terms of making patches, etc.. but I was blown away by the screen shots of the level of detail on Evo-webs site and had read articles in magazines, etc...

would love to get my hand on a copy and then I would purchase the lid, etc..

what do u reckon, how difficult is it to construct a pacth...also i dont really wanna fork out £55 for the import of WE6:FE, and then see that my creation doesnt work??

is it a case of simply making a copy of the original game onto a cd, and then uploading all the files from evowebs site? or is it more techinical than that?

It's not too difficult at all.
Applying a patch is quite simple.
Making your own changes to the game adds complexity.

I have burnt 6 different patched versions and only wasted 1 CD.
If it works, it works perfectly or not at all.
Check the thread with the big list of patches (above) for more info plus a great guide on how to patch which makes it look as easy as it is.
