Can you cheat online while playing PES 2008

Hello. I just wanted to know if it is possible to cheat while playing an online game. The reason i'm asking is because i created a game and played again ''Cobra'', he had a rating of 693 and i had a rating of 597. I was 2-0 up with 15mins (gametime) to go and suddenly the game disconnected. Usually when this happens i get the points but this time round he did, but i never logged out in middle of game and my connection didnt kick out either. Could he have manipulated the game in any way or what could have been the problem?? Any help would be much appreciated

Yes this has happened to me too. Cobra sounds familiar tbh, so it might've been him.

Dunno how he does it, but its obviously another bug that Konami will probably never get round to fixing.

You can cheat on ps2 wich is so anoying but i dunno about the pc.I dont see the point cheating man.Online is made to enjoy yourself

I Think Sometimes People Use Lag To Cheat But Im Not To Sure Like,,,as Wen Lag Happens It Allways Seems To Go Against Me,,which Make Me Think They Are Cheating

Btw, does anybody know why I don't get my achievement points for things I do online? For instance, last night I scored a peach of a free kick with Nakamura (direct) but didn't get my 50Gs for it.

I once played against a guy highly rated, probably over 700. I was leading by 2-0 and in the extra time. The game paused for a moment and then connection with other player was lost and I was brought back to my room and found out that I lost by 3-0. But One day I was playing against a guy who heading towards my goalie to try to score and take the lead and the game paused. So to make it fair I voluntarily disconnected so that he will get the points. The score was 2-2 and there was no proof that he was going to score but I did it to be fair. I would never do it before but know I do pick teams like Inter, Barcelona, Chelsea, Man U. Nobody mention Man U but let me remind you Rooney is worst compared to Adriano or Ibrahimovich or Ronaldinho because there is no player who can stop him online especially when its lagging. Me I don't what teams you pick. I just avoid playing people with less than 2 bars when I have 2 bars or more. Only if I have less than 1 bar I will accept a challenge with somebody with less than 1 bar. I always try to communicate with my opponent and ask him if we could play small teams. If he doesn't want to then I give up. I like playing with small teams, it really makes you work your mind and play smart or more tactical. I still play online PES 2008 (PS2) and I might be rated 600 or something. I do welcome people to look for me to play. I have been called mother Fucka, Nigga, Bitch, My mom sucks good dicks, Fuck You, Asshole, Cheaters and all kinds of words after beating somebody. Most of the time I don't reply to this. There are really weird people online. They take this game more serious than their own life. I can assure you that I play fair and if anybody is interested here is my player name: "JRAY" and rarely "Raymond". Find me online and we can have a game. Please don't challenge me with a bad connection. However if I do have a bad connection and I am inside your room, say something and just let me know that you don't wanna play me cause my connection is bad and then I will leave. i had this problem too ,suddenly i went from 5 disconects too nearly 100 out of 1200 games ,i tried every possible soloution, cleaning disc ,only playing ppl with the same language ,even setting up a room and only playing ppl who spoke english and were connected by ethernet cable ,i even wrote to konami ,and they sent me an email back telling me to change my port settings ,i went from div2 to div3c ,during this time ,it still happens on the odd occassion now ,usually the same happens a pause ,by my opponent then when the game stops it does not continue ,just froze ,but like you i`m not offline and when i return to lobby hes not offline either

the thing i found was when i hosted my own room it didnt happen too often but still did ,but since ive switched to playing non ranking games its never ever happened ,i wonder why

people cheat alright

people cheat using lag, i play this guy online and the gameplay was smooth untill evertime i went a goal a head lag started to kick in. when he got level after scoring each time the lag would stop untill i scored again, then from his kick off lag started as he ran at me with eto'o and ronaldinho and messi the usual suspects ,cheat or what.

but i notice that i could mess with the lag on the connection by simply downloading somthin through my connection. mess up everything but i can run players i don't do it though cause i dont need to cheat.
